Hillel international seems to go out of her way to appease anti Israel groups such as Jstreet Jstreet u . My opinion supporting these groups is destroying Jewish groups and Jewish life on campus. If t...his continues it will drive Jewish students from Hillel to competing organizations that will start to rise in response. See More

Hunter College students have the farthest commute in the CUNY system, with some traveling as long as 2.5 hours to get to class on time. To accommodate them, Hunter Hillel professionals have reengineered the Hillel from top to bottom to meet the needs of students.

As an experienced campus professional, I’m as guilty as any other of trying to organize student programming around my schedule, my circadian rhythms. No longer.

To celebrate Tu B'Shevat, Hillel for Utah students created willow and palm trees out of plastic bottles. The “trees” will be on display outside of the Westminster College Environmental Center for the next two weeks.

Since planting trees in Utah in the middle of February is a frozen challenge, Hillel for Utah students celebrated Tu B’Shevat by making a statement through art.

"Earlier this year, as part of Jewish Disability Advocacy and Inclusion Month, I helped create American University Hillel's first ever Disability Inclusion Shabbat. The service and dinner were designed to teach students about the meaning of accessibility, acceptance, and inclusion, and to talk about what we have accomplished as an institution and what we still need to do."

After months of planning, weeks of searching for the perfect readings, and a few crazy days of racing around like a chicken with its head cut off, I had finally crafted my first Friday night Shabbat service. And thankfully, it was a success.

Last night, our friends at OSU Hillel succeeded with their partners in removing references to Israel from a student government resolution supporting a university investment committee. The final bill, which passed, focused instead on combating human rights abuses more broadly.

Good work, Buckeyes! Thanks for all you do to galvanize your friends and take on anti-Israel bias on campus!

OSU Hillel

Dear Friends of OSU Hillel,

We wanted to let everyone know that last night OSU Hillel and 100s of pro-Israel students succeeded in removing all direct reference...s to Israel from a resolution that passed the Undergraduate Student Government to support a university investment committee.

The "Resolution to Establish a Committee to Investigate OSU's Investments in Companies Complicit in Human Rights Violations" asks the University Senate to form an ad-hoc committee to review investments in companies that are involved in human rights abuses. It passed by secret ballot after hours of debate.

With our help and our valued partners, pro-Israel student leaders made tremendous efforts to combat the original resolution. They supported many amendments that stripped specific references to Israel and companies that do business with Israel. They spoke with passion and intelligence about their connection to Israel, its human rights records and their concerns about being marginalized as Jewish students on our campus. Their words helped several amendments pass that changed the tone of the resolution from targeting Israel to combating human rights abuses more broadly.

After the vote, Jewish and pro-Israel students gathered here to regroup and make plans for further Israel engagement and open conversation on our campus.

We are incredibly proud of our students’ tireless efforts to prevent Israel from being singled out and misrepresented on campus, and their continuing resolve to fight BDS and anti-Israel bias however it manifests on campus. We will continue to work with our supporters and partners to ensure as many students as possible learn Israel’s true story.
