I have been dealing with Chris Hodgdon and Hodgdon Powders now since 2004. Chris has been very professional and above that a good friend!

I have had my best accuracy and best scores and even won pri...zes and pistols with Hodgdon powder, Rainier ballistics, Winchester primers and startline brass you can’t go wrong with Hodgdon brand Powders. See More

You guys really need to update your reloading data for 7.62X54R. You have .308 bullet diameter you use but most Mosin Nagant use a .311 to .312 diameter bullet. If someone loads to your spec with a ....311 bullet is that now a safety concern? See More

Hodgen has proven to be extremely consistent, clean burning, and very accurate powder. I use CFE pistol in my 9mm loads and find it to be very clean burning and consistent over the chronograph.

I have been using Hodgdon Powder for over 30 years. It is my "go to" powder for most of my reloading of rifle, handguns and shotguns. I am well satisfied with the performance of these powders

I can't say enough about the consistency and clean burning characteristics of Hodgdon powders. They make load development a snap.

Best powder company ever! Consistent quality, extremely broad selection, competitive price and constantly bringing new products to market, what more could you want?

the products offered are good powders, but the company itself is totally unresponsive to reloaders need or wishes, 2 cases in point, their refusal to clear up years-long shortages of some of their pow...ders, & just recently their refusal to get their Reloading Data Center up & running again after it has been down for more that seven days. This company does not listen to or care about its customers. See More

Tite Group for CAS (Cowboy Action Shooting) Clean burning and great for BIG cases with a small amount of powder. For all around good performance in rifles H414. It's AWESOME in the 30-06 and does grea...t for .223 and .308 too. I've even pushed a few 45-70s with it though H322 works better. It doesn't smell as good as 2400, but who can get THAT stuff anymore? See More

Just bought my 2nd pound of CFE pistol powder. I load 9mm 115 and 124 gr. plated and FMJ. I've been impressed by the consistent metering and clean burning. I'm using a Lee single stage kit, and I've l...oaded at least 1500 rounds using the powder measure that came with the kit, and have had great results. I'm a fan of Lee and Hodgdon. See More

Tite Group is my go to powder for 9mm and .40 Cal loads. Thousands of rounds and never a problem. My only negative, and not really a negative, but a question. I shot two rounds .308 150gr Speer Flat P...oint with 46gr of BL-C(2) for 1" group in the bulls eye for zero. I bought some 150 grain flat nose bullets from Extreme Bullets, but came with warning stating to keep them under 1.500 fps. Data I have found shows only powder to keep under that muzzle velocity is Hodgdon's Trail Boss, Between 10 and 14 grains. All loads were shooting about 14" low. need fix. See More

I'm disturbed by the fact that Hodgdon family members have come out in support of gun control efforts to restrict concealed carry in the state of Kansas. To think that a family that made its fortunes ...supporting RKBA is now supporting gun controls sullies the good memory of Bruce
Hodgdon.

Hodgdon Powder is a great company to deal with. I have never came away unhappy with them or any of their products.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out this week's Shawn Michaels’ MacMillan River Adventures on Outdoor Channel. In this week's episode, friend of Hodgdon Keith Mark - MRA Hunting shot a charging moose with his Remington Arms Company muzzleloader, making for an action-packed few seconds. Great hunt and great story. Always good to hear how our customers are using Hodgdon powder.

Most hunting seasons are closing down, but Drew Hodgdon recently took a trip to Oklahoma to hog hunt.

He shot this 300+ pound hog with a Ruger in 30-06, using H4831SC and a Sierra BulletsGameking bullet. Nicely done, Drew!

Introduced a few weeks ago at SHOT Show, Winchester WinClean 244 is a ball powder developed for medium handgun loads.

It is ideally suited to 38 Special, 45 Auto, and 9mm standard loads. Consistency, low flash, and a broad range of applications make this powder a choice for any handgun cartridge loader. Since it is a ball powder, it features precise metering. And with the WinClean additive, this powder is cleaner burning and reduces copper fouling.

At Hodgdon, every day is "bring your dog to work" day. This is Rigby, one of Hodgdon's in-house bird dogs, working some planted chukars for practice last weekend in our home state.

Good dog!

If you are like us and grew up on Ruark's Horn of the Hunter, you will understand the impact of his loss to the hunting industry. RIP, Harry.

He shot his first antelope at 8, his first elephant at 14. Mr. Selby was a protégé of the East Africa hunter Philip Hope Percival, who took Theodore Roosevelt and Ernest Hemingway on safari.

Friends of Hodgdon Chad Schearer and son Walker from Shoot Straight TV with Chad and Marsha Schearer were in Texas hunting sandhill cranes last week. 28 gauges with a Hodgdon 700x load for steel shot were the tools. Wish we were there.

In 1968, Tom Shepherd walked into the doors of Hodgdon Powder Co for the first time as an employee. Today, he's walking out our doors for the last time as a full-time employee. Thanks for your guiding us through some of our best years at Hodgdon, Tom!

As Tom says, we're not saying "goodbye," but rather, "see you later."

Lones Wigger was a friend of Hodgdon and we will miss him. He was instrumental in expanding the field of shooting sports and a true champion, but more importantly, he was simply a great guy. #RIPWIG

Today, the world is paying their condolences to shooting's greatest champion, Lones Wigger, and naturally NRA Competitive Shooting has come through with some good stories and an understanding of what he meant in NRA Institute for Legislative Action circles. #RIPWIG

A fierce competitor, Wigger said no one would ever outwork him. “The will to win is really better stated as the will to prepare to win. In shooting, it’s persistence that pays the biggest dividends—constant, steady practice, week in and week out, all year long. I truly believe that anyone can ...

We love to hunt our home state, but honestly, we like big whitetails wherever we find them. Aaron Oelger from our Sales and Marketing department shot this 9-pointer in Missouri during their firearms season a couple weeks ago. Congrats, Aaron!
