Remember about the banquet this Saturday from 3-5! It is a semi-formal event so dress appropriately.
For those of you who were assigned to bring something, don't forget.
We could use some volunteers to help set up the cafeteria so if you'd like to help feel free to come at around 2PM
:)
There is NO meeting tomorrow! It is postponed until next week.
Next week's meeting will consist of further discussion and contributions to the banquet and the continuation of the little bot project.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

The robot was Bag and Tagged today which means the build season is officially over. Always a bittersweet moment for the team. All that's left to do is do some final preparations before the competition.
Next build meeting is next Tuesday from 5-7. Don't forget to get permission slips signed and take your $20 to Mrs. Boone and return the receipt to Mrs. Winston!
The results with the robot were very satisfying especially considering the team is so young this year. Good job to everyone! Take this time to relax. Bayou is in 3 weeks!

Congratulations to Team Intrepid for being one of the top four finalists today! Hopefully everyone had a great time and there's more to come. This is only the beginning, guys. The newer ones got a feel for what's ahead, and we know what to expect for FIRST. This was only practice and there's nothing else to do except get prepared for FIRST next semester.
I wouldn't be any prouder of you guys no matter what placement we got. Placement means absolutely nothing. Half of the team was missing, no Captain, and all of you stepped up and acted as leaders today. We made it to the finals, and that should be enough to show everyone what we're made of. There are improvements to be made and the team is only going to improve with every passing day.
Good job, guys.

Just wanted to wish you guys good luck today with Superfly! Hopefully presentations went well last night and now it's Superfly's turn. Don't forget to stay focused and communicate. Those are essential for us to be regional bound! Keep me posted guys
:)
