Basic English Sentence Example

I'm' is an abbreviation for the word 'I AM.' It is used in combination with other words to tell someone about yourself or to describe something you are doing.

Here are some examples:


"I'm so tired."
"I'm confused."
"I'm happy."
"I'm twenty three years old."
"I'm hungry."
"I'm nervous."
"I'm excited."
"I'm leaving work."
"I'm thirsty."
"I'm from Seattle."

You can hear how they are pronounced and you can practice saying them out to the PC.

Hello, sorry for being away for awhile. I think there are number of free resources available in the internet that are very useful for learning English by yourself. It is true that you need to some language partner to learn languages, but these days technologies are advancing in such a way as to make it possible to learn things effectively on your own way ! For example, here is the one that I found very recently.

But there is no flashcard (using anki) for learning English. But, if you speak French, German and Spanish, you may find it useful to work on it other way around as the basic language is English.
