Plenary talk details of International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP 2016)
- Sanad Awarded to Shri K.N.Agarwala in 1928 by Governor of Agra &Oudh... for his meritorious services and construction of Sarda Canal. The construction of the Canal in those days was a very arduous task. There were no communications. The alignment passed through numerous obstacles, deep forests invested with wildlife. It was normal for the engineer-in-charge to travel on horseback for 6-8 hours on a daily basis for prolonged periods. Routes had to be cleared of all inhabitants painfully. Accidents with wildlife and poisonous snakes was almost a daily occurrence. See More
