I feel like this place is beyond over priced. Knowing I'm going into a healthy organic shop called the gem for the first time I knew it would be costly althoug...h the $27 for one meal for a single person was crazy. It was good. They didn't have lunch meal. Everything is priced individually. Micro bar was $5. The vegan dip is $5 for 8oz but the label on the dip says 6.5oz. Still got charged with no explanation. Pita chips packaged $5 they have no fresh baked foods or fresh cooked just juices and smoothie fresh. Oatmeal $4. Faux to parfait smoothie $8. It all is good but expensive so bring your money with your Appetite. Vegan living is deff better in California. Quick snack...great place عرض المزيد

As a health professional -- I am consistently looking for the best grocers, restaurants, etc., that meet all of my standards (criteria not easily met, I can ass...ure you) -- and The Gem has truly met it all ...both in product and customer service.

Owner, Mary Catherine, hadn't a clue what I knew or didn't know, never having met me, soon as I started asking the cashier questions she jumped right in to show me transparently their process (literally the back prep room), sampling me as she proceeded to explain the what's in it and why! Needless to say, I stood there partaking and relishing in this 'gem' of a lady and new excellent 'gem' of a find �

No question, best in Dallas...and I will definitely be a weekly regular shopper -- popping in repeatedly.

A friend introduced me to The Gem.. I am on day 5 of my juice cleanse and still going strong. It was so nice to see smiling faces each morning. Great to receive a lot of support from everybody at The Gem.

it was definitely worth looking for even if I had missed it twice as my iphone gps kept on pointing me to Shinsei! I got to talk to Sarah, who was very friendly, as she freshly pressed my green glow :)
