Excellent hotel to stay at when you’re in the Beloit area. They are super pet friendly and even gave our 4 legged companion a few treats during our stay, so great to see a hotel as pristine as Ironwor...ks allowing 4 legged family members to join the stay. Staff are very friendly and the decor is so unique, lots of history. Highly recommend!
Perfect from the compliment
ary valet upon arrival, to check in with a pour of champagne, dinner at the steak house and incredible accommodat ions. We will be back for many more escapes. Well done!
Went to my good friends wedding yesterday,
and everything was great; the decor, the food and the staff. Will recommend this place to anyone having a wedding.

The Ironworks Hotel is my favorite home away from home. Beautiful clean rooms with all the comforts from home. We stayed in the Heritage Suite and had a view of the Rock River. Staff is always eager ...to go above and beyond.

My original review was not good when trying to decide on a wedding venue. Stephanie,
the GM really went above and beyond to fix everything but unfortunat ely we had already decided to move in a differe...nt direction. We ended up with an opportunit y to stay this past weekend and cannot begin to tell you how amazing everything was. Dinner was delicious at their steak house and the service was wonderful! They only issue (and I use that loosely) we had was not getting seated for an hour after our reservatio n time. I wish we had been told we wouldn’t be seated anytime soon so we were at least in the know and could have had an appetizer at the bar while waiting. But that did not deter us from a really great evening. Not only the hotel but the entire town is so friendly and welcoming, we cannot wait to get the motorcycle s up here with friends for another weekend this summer. A HUGE thank you to Stephanie for really going above and beyond for her guests to ensure an experience never to forget!
Would HIGHLY recommend this wonderfull
y explicit and high-end hotel without the high-end prices. The decor is very warm, masculine, rustic and relaxing. It reminds you of an era gone by during the b...oom of the steel industry. You feel as if you are whisked away to the 1940 steel mill warehouse that has been turn into lofts adorned with fixtures and amenities that feed the soul. The warm earthy colors used in the room, the leather and cotton textiles of the furniture and the towels and robes, the chunky layout of the room where the flow through fireplace warms the living area and the bedroom is just as cozy as a luxurious spa. The bathroom was just as well furnished with stone and wood vanities complete with two robes and the shower with its huge rain shower head and frosted glass was nothing less than spectacula r. The hallways had just a hint of cologne and everywhere you went, the staff were very attentive. My partner, Scott Tyler, and I loved the very short stay that we had, but will definitely seek out where other Iron Works Hotels may be in other cities we visit.
I MUST see and experience ! Well worth the money.
We had res. 3 rm for New Years Eve. King suite and 2 queens. I was over charged from what I was quoted. We had dinner res. for 7 at 7pm. Yet when we checked in we where handed a pager(beep
er) like ...outback steak house. Very tacky for a so called HIGH End place. They seated us in a back room with NO entertainm ent. Just drunks at a near by table that kept going in and out the door to smoke, so we got a blast of icy cold air over and over. Food was good. However it took forever between each course. The kitchen is way over in the BAR area, so the servers have to juggle the food all the way thru the bar to several different areas. Just crazy . I had to talk with staff to get a table in the bar area for the rest of the evenings entertainm ent. Which turned out to be a table back in a corner. We could not ever see the band. In fact unless your at the bar very few people could see the band. Very unorganize d set up. Hotel offered a Package deal w Champagne , Hors doeuvres etc. So glad I did not opt for that. As the same was offered for free to anyone that walked in off the street. Clearly the bar is just a place for the local young drunks to spend their New Yrs. For spending over 1200. We got Nothing special. This is NOT a High End place, not like they claim to be. Huge disappoint ment. I would never waste my money there , nor would I ever suggest The Iron works to anyone else. Food was good but NOT to die for. Sadly this whole place needs a over haul. Lay out, hotel services. They even charge for bottle water in the room. They have nothing to even come close to a Westin or Hilton. Except the prices. Oh and lastly the bathrobes are very low quality. Go Stay at a Real High End Hotel. There is very little of the old building left in there, just some recycled wood used for vanities etc. and some rolling doors. I should have gone down and done a walk thru before I booked anything.
We stayed in one of the suites for the first time this past weekend and let me tell you, AHHHHMAZIN
G!!! Will definitely be staying there again soon!! Was very clean, had our bartender deliver our drin...ks personally to our room, breakfast was right on time and delicious. Staff was very welcoming and nice. And the best part was dinner at our favorite restaurant , Merrill and Houstons. Thankyou for such an enjoyable and memorable stay. We will be back very soon!!
Our last daughter just got married on the patio and had her reception last weekend at the Ironworks,
we had multiple people comment that it was the best "wedding food" they ever had. Everything was ...perfect, thank you to all the staff for making our day so special!
