This is awesome!
Last Friday, Winson and I had the opportunity to do something really special for an amazing young boy. Noah who is diagnosed with High-functioning Autism has a ...dream to one day be a professional DJ. His mother started showing him footage from some of our events at Aston Manor, and in return he would draw out scenarios and other aspects from the nightlife/DJ scene. After hearing his story, Winson and I decided to make his wish come true. In front of a sold out crowd, we had SPD escort Noah to the main stage. Before giving him his first DJ experience behind the booth, we bought him a mixer and controller specifically made for young DJ's to practice on. We also gave him a pair of Munitio headphones, and we both chipped in and bought him a gift certificate to Seattle DJ Academy for a "VIP experience" which will teach Noah the basics and fundamentals of DJ'ing. To end the night, he got to stand in the booth and truly feel what its like to "DJ" in front of the sold out crowd. Noah has chosen the DJ name "DJ Ilumnanti Pieces" (how awesome is that?)
We have created a video to better explain the night and expierence to hopefully raise awareness for everyone to help one another. Enough with the negativity on social media, lets focus on positive energy and take time out of our day to do something special for each other. Thank you to all the fans at Aston that night who helped cheer Noah on, and also a shout out to SPD for assisting us.
Good luck Noah on your DJ career! Winson and I are your #1 fans!
