I always loved the idea of a Victorian era War of the Worlds. No need to modernise the story. This could be amazing!

How does the sun look from other planets?

A bit extreme perhaps but it beats a box of chocolates.

Stunning photographs of Venus taken by a Japanese spacecraft.

It would be nice if aliens were to blame for crop circles, but this explanation is just as good.

Australian wallabies are eating opium poppies and creating crop circles as they hop around "as high as a kite", a government official says.

Love this. Very clever.

Many thanks to everyone who voted on their favourite book description. It was a close tun race, but description B won by 7 votes. Lots of people said they preferred the final paragraph in description C, however, so I did a little editing.
A and C were also popular, which tells me different descriptions appeal to different readers. No surprise there. So I'll be swapping the descriptions every few weeks.

I was feeling a little overwhelmed and discouraged this morning, then I saw I'd received a great review. Thanks, Nancy Phy. You made my day.

5/5: Great space opera. Each book of this series just gets better and better. It's a wonderful love story with characters that will steal your heart and lots of action and adventure. If you're looking for a great space opera then I would recommend you read this series.
