Came for the name and mistakenly ate the food on purpose!
Its bbq place how bout some bbq sauce on table?
I had chicken tenders thought it was safe but damn the grease after taste was so bad we went... down street for drinks.
Tables werent being cleaned! Tables not waited on and if i seen the kitchen before i ate I WOULD NEVER had ordered water!!
I gave two stars for name and memorabilia.
Food and service deserves zero stars!
Highly disappointed!

Cool memorabilia food was lackluster. Was denied a beer do to my paper ID but no one said a word when my wife bought one and gave it to me. I was expecting so much more.

Brought my husband on his 1st time to Memphis there for his birthday last night. My sister's, bro-in-law's, the hub's, & I saw it was karaoke night with no cover and thought it would be a great way to... sing a variety of songs and have some fun. Glad there was no cover, as if there was one I would have been even more pissed off than I still am now. Three out of the 6 of my party put one song request in, & neither of us got called after hours & hours of the same people allowed to go up and sing and even as we watched several people leave. There were about 12 people left in the building at 1am including the 6 of us, yet not even one of us got called yet again even after yet another hour went by later at 2 am..just the same people kept going up to sing over & over & over again then the DJ told two ladies after they just sang to stay up there and he had a surprise song for them to sing. My family and I joked about watch them say last call for alcohol, and literally 20 seconds later that's what was announced. I guess after the DJ informed over the mic that he just realized when songs are duets the words are blue for when the guy is to sing, pink for when a lady is to sing, and green is for them to sing together we should have left. Um are you 12? Did you just start tonight working there? I am going to say yes, since most the time the right music did not come up as requested & how the crowd dwindled significantly. Was a horrible experience and will never get that time back in any of our lives when my husband & I could have spent our last night in Memphis somewhere else especially on his birthday. I went up to the DJ before we left and told him to take all of our requests out and that this place is horrible. I will never go back again, which I travel here often and my one sister and bro-in-law live here.Too bad for them. Oh and the bathrooms were repulsively disgusting too. See More

We went to eat here this past weekend. Upon entering the restaurant it took 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Once our drink orders were takin it took at least 10 minutes before we got our d...rinks. The appetizer (sausage cheese plate) came out cold. Our drinks were never kept filled and it took forever to get our food which came out cold. The best thing we had was the pork skins. See More

It was my 1st trip to see The King's place. The hospitality from Randy Hales and the staff was top notch. The memories from over the years, memorabilia, and respect for the business are first class......true showing of the history of the sport as we know it today. So many superstars either started or came through Memphis before they made it big time. It says a lot about The King and the impact he had and still has on what happens today. That is why he is and always will be THE King! See More

I had high hopes for this establishment, as the entertainment was very talented. Unfortunately, after we waited 10 minutes for a server to get us and then more than 15 minutes and still no beer or, we moved along. I'd be hesitant to go back, especially when there are so many other great places to eat and drink on Beale. Improve your service please! See More

The service and food was horrible. A person in my party ordered steak from the menu only to be told 10 minutes later that they didn't have steak anymore. Which would be fine but the burger that was or...dered instead was like an old piece of cardboard. The waiter seemed like he had never waited on a table before and was to worried about flirting with the 2 cute girls a few tables over. Definitely not a place fit for a King. See More

Great entertainment, and good food. It should not take 15m to get a beer when the bar isn't busy. Service sucks, but @[1407264279:Christopher L. Gales] music is so worth the beer delays. He manages to... harmonize with himself and layer guitars to the point you'd think it was a band playing.

I did get a hug from the King himself as well, my wrasslin' fan friends will be jealous.

First time visiting jerry lawlers. Food was pretty good, the waitress was friendly and prompt, but the reason I will most certainly be back next visit to Memphis was Mr Chris Gales!! He was so enterta...ining! Beautiful voice and he plays so gracefully. I loved it. I love how he interacts with the people. And my 2 year old son was a fan too! Great job Mr. Gales. Can't wait to come see ya again! See More

If you are a big wrestling fan you may love it but I go downtown mostly for food and entertainment. Went during grand opening weekend and the food and service was good. Some of us disappointed because... we had VIP and havent even seen our photos taken with A Thousand Horses and would love to see them. Please post them. See More

The pork rinds were a great sharing appetizer. Had the bbq pork sandwich. You know when the bbq is falling out of the bun, that's real southern hospitality. Terrific service and live music by Chris Ga...les was a big bonus. See More

I had the BBQ nachos and they were really good. The BBQ sauce was very tasty too. We also had the fried cheese sticks made with monterey jack cheese and we loved them. The kitchen was a bit short staf...fed, but they pulled it together. The live music was good. Met "The King" and he took a picture with my 9 year old daughter, it was her birthday so that was a neat treat. A little bit later he brought our table some souvenir key chains :). There were several tables open when we arrived around 5:15pm, and by the time we left around 6:30pm the place was completely full. I have one small suggestion though, please add a kids menu with at least a few kid approved choices such as chicken nuggets, pizza, & mac-n-cheese. Overall a great experience! See More

Jerry Lawler's Bar and Grill has the best music played by Chris Gales, I was in there last week and loved hearing him play, he puts a smile on your face to hear his voice while you are eating a delici...ous Burger or up dancing, way to go Chris and keep up the good work . See More

Spent a few days in Memphis and kept on coming back to Jerry Lawler's. By far the friendliest place on Beale with cheap drinks and delicious food. But the best part was the entertainment. You've go...t to go and hear guitarist/vocalist Chris Gales. See More

It was good but I noticed on karaoke Friday 3 people had a chance to sing four or more times with in the rotation which wasn't cool but I guess if your there everyday and close friends with the DJ it ...would happen other than that I had a blast. See More
