This was the most amazing place! We loved it! The Hawaiian butterfish was to die for, melted in our mouth! Pumpkin bisque was so good and the green bean salad... yum yum! We stumbled onto this restaurant (Yelp) and I believe it was the best meal I've had in a very long time. The butterfish melts in your mouth and the beet salad ...was spectacular. The chocolate Crème brûlée was indescribable. This restaurant is an absolute must if you are in the area. Jacob our server was an excellent tour guide through the menu and wine list. عرض المزيد

We went to JO2 based on a rec from a friend, and I'm so glad we did! Steven, our server, was attentive to every need and shared all details of the menu and meal.... We both did the tasting menu, which was delightful and filling! We also ordered the raw fish plate - beautifully presented and delicious! The chef made us a special dessert for our anniversary, which was incredible and a great way to end our meal! Thank you, JO2 - just like Kaua'i, we will return to you, too! عرض المزيد

This place is amazing! I would highly recommend it! Jason and Chef Darin were great and really accommodating to a food allergy. The food tasted wonderful and was a good price.

What a dinner. Tastes like you have never had before. We did the early dinner special and I had the Mahi and my wife the Butterfish. Oshi! The corn soup was to die for. Ahi poke is too flight. Go for it!

Creative, delicious, inspired dinning. Four different dinners and 3 different deserts were all wonderful. Service is top notch. We do hope this place thrives as it is in an unexpected location.

Best meal we have had on Kauai. Chef/owner uses unbelievably fresh ingredients prepared in unexpectedly delicious and creative ways. Service was outstanding thanks to our server, Jacob.

Went here on our one date night in Kauai. It was phenomenal. I never write reviews. But the Butterfish at JO2 was one of the best fish I have ever had. And the tempura green beans...amazing! Definitely would come back again.

If you do anything while on Kauai, you must see the Napali Coast, and eat at JO2. I have never eaten such good food in my life. You feel like you're plucked out... of reality and taken on a journey through this food. I've never considered food to be art until eating here. The scallop ravioli, hamachi, and summer toast all make great appetizers and don't skip out on the butterfish or the scallops and shrimp risoto. We can't wait until next year to come back and eat at JO2 again. Bravo! عرض المزيد

The Butterfish may have been the best piece of fish I've had in years. Since we reside in New England we have ample supply of great seafood restaurants. Jo2's was nothing shy of outstanding. Great service and great food. I highly recommend making a reservation for dinner.

Best restaurant in Kauai ! I have been there many times. I love their presentation, taste, and service. When we have friends visiting in Kauai, we always take them to JO2. I know they won't be dispointed for sure.

We were staying at 17 Palms, on the island for 10 days. Our hosts Jeff and Ross had included this as a recommendation. As we always try to seek out a superior d...ining experience when we vacation, we thought this to be a great option for our one night of dining opulence.

What we found was beyond compare. Jean Marie and his staff, along with his incredible menu of local ingredients was, suffice to say, world class.

To put it in perspective, the only meal that we could hold to the same regard was at Thomas Kellers -Bouchon- in the Napa valley.

Quite possibly one the greatest meals I've even eaten. And at the price point, it probably is.

Thank you again! Your amazing menu made this trip across the ocean worth it, if even just for your dinner. Mahalo! عرض المزيد

Every plates have many flavours in but each are balance and clearly directed.
No sugar no salt added just their natural value.
Fresh, local, made thoughtfully....
The Poached scallop ravioli are sublime!
Service is impeccable, music selection is good.
Quality pricy but it's one (if not the best) meal we had on Kauai, and we tried many high ends. Go! عرض المزيد
