But when one woman shares her story about an abusive man—especially when that man is in a position of power—it often breaks the dam, allowing others the accused has preyed upon to feel safer coming forward. These women are not riding a wave for 15 minutes of fame; they are emboldened and empowered by the examples of other victims. They see that they are not alone. They hope people will believe them. They are finding strength and safety in numbers.

On the one hand, at least it's not a manel. On the other hand, will she have to wear a burka? #facepalm #manel #frumwomenhavefaces

JOFA posts content without getting their facts straight. Although they took down the post, I am unimpressed with the original post and the lack of knowledge before they comment on other businesses.

Great think-tank processing crucial issues as we move forward for the greater good of all -- with integrity to look, unafraid, at what matters so that healing win/win can emerge. Grateful.

"It seems the list has gained momentum. Another source who saw the list described it as a “spreadsheet of about 15 names” that allows women to anonymously fill out the name of an alleged perpetrator, a brief description of the alleged incident, who else was involved in the alleged incident and if any further action was taken. The purpose of the list, said the source, was to “allow women to see that they were not alone.” One alleged perpetrator was mentioned by five different independent sources." Reported by Hannah Dreyfus of The Jewish Week

‘Many of the names are easily recognizable,’ according to those who have seen it.

"It’s pretty clear that the OU doesn’t believe this is a real ‘halachic’ problem,” said Bat Sheva Marcus , president of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance (JOFA). “If the OU truly thought that women clergy was a violation of halacha, they wouldn’t have ‘grandfathered’ in those synagogues. You don’t ‘grandfather in’ halachic violations.”

No action taken on four member synagogues with female clergy, but prohibition against future hires. Meanwhile, graduates of first Orthodox yeshiva to ordain women continue pursuing pulpit spots.

This is the best thing ever. We are huge fans of feminism delivered with major doses of humor. Have some of your own to add? Comment below! Maybe we can make our own list as an Orthodox feminist addendum!
