Dear Kastam,

Can I give some advice, would you please not take or halt people’s toys that we, ourselves, ordered with our own hard earned money?...

Just now I want to buy something from taobao and the seller don’t even want to ship to Malaysia because they said customer from Malaysia complaint kastam halt and send back the toys just because it got a little piece of magnet (where the things already arrived at Malaysia), and also the taobao seller also said that customer complaint the parcel they received is apparently empty, and lots of people from Malaysia also complaint and suspect that this is inside job of kastam where the collector that work as kastam worker scavenge buyer’s parcel on their own AKA STEALING and then approved an empty parcel box.

Latest case my Facebook friend got his parcel, which contain toys, MISSING 50% of its content due to inside job of these people.

PLEASE do me a favor, as a representative of all buyer, seller, etc. to weed out the thieves that are working inside your department and not simply halt toys or reject the toys and send back to the sender simply because it had pre-installed battery by factory, as this is very2 frustrating only because of small matter like this, you reject or halt the item just because it got detected as magnet or so whatever...that thing we cannot even do anything because most of the items are brand new...

Can't even answer a simple call. Called more than 10 times, still no answer. Made me missed my damn flight.

Calls are not answered almost all the time. i have applied an appeal for refund and no answer for almost 1 year now. Not even a status reply. How can a government organization be so inefficient. ? Do guys even have something called a procedure and timeline for working and answering queries. 😓😓😓 See More

-9999 star if possible, people pay extra for fastest shipping with insurance cause wan it in hurry and yet custom held it for weeks or month just for inspection ?wth wrong with you guys!! and don't ev...en allow the receiver go there them self with all the invoice and payment slip for the package to claim it. Hi there

Recently I gotten back from Paris. I was being charged for items I bought....

Can I know under which law published that items which I purchased, claimed Tax refund in Paris airport with proper procedure, allows your colleague in KLIA to charge me 4% tax?

Please clarify this as this has caused a lot of disappointments and dissatisfaction among all travellers.

Customs import clearance very slow services. We pay so much tax to them but they never done their job fast and efficiency. Only work 3 days a week, friday they say want to pray but not praying, monday... still on weekend mood, saturaday and sunday get drunk. useless malays See More

I am very very disappointed for your department ! today morning i was received 3 pcs parcel form city-link cargo sdn bhd,the drive show me a resit form jabatan kastam diraja malaysia to claim back the... duty paid when city-link collect the parcel form kastam.(city-link was paid to kastam first). I check the resit the total amount pay print by computer was RM 152.07,below has a pen write RM 746.20, then another resit was charge me RM 745.20. The question is how come RM 152.07 become RM 745.20? your department was owe me a justice ! Pls stop to inform me complaint at your website ! On 2017, June 26, around 6 pm. my friend and I are book collectors. We each brought 30+ KG of books entering Malaysia from Hong Kong.

We told the Kastam at KLIA2 that the books are for personal use, ...they want to tax us.

Then another officer came and said that books brought in from other country are subjected to GST.

That is the most stupid lie I heard.

I paid tax when I brought the books in foreign country, now I have to pay the tax again in Malaysia?

They let us go because we are unwilling to consent.

Network offline the whole day n bcoz of that I cannot collect my parcel. No courtesy to inform me despite taking down my number. Sharp 12.30 all cabut go out for lunch. Even then when I was ther at time never mentioned system down. Asked me to come at 4.30. Cannot do manual system. Easy way out u come again tomoro n check. Lame excuse. Dono until when we got to deal with this kind of clowns. No helping nature despite we r paying all the taxes n paying their salary. Jabatan Kastam DiRaja Malaysia is run by incompetent idiot, just recently I have some item wrongly taxed because it a "playing card".. apparently they couldnt tell a plastic card made as an accessory ...for toys apart from "Poker Card"..

Worse of all, I dont get that additional tax the 1st time I order it, but this time, addtitional 10% are apply to each "playing card" item, THOSE ARE THE SAME FUCKING ITEM, MORON.
