Email sent to JSO this morning.
This morning tried to call for help requesting a Police officer to our neighborhood because as we were leaving our house at 5:00 am we saw a suspicious vehicle pull in and out of different driveways in our neighborhood. I called and the rudest man answered your nonemergency phone number. Would not let me speak and the entire time kept talking over me as I tried to explain what was happening he began to chastise me. When I asked if I could please speak and tell him what I did he refuse to listen to me. This is unbelievable and this department is supposed to help and protect and not treat Jacksonville resident with such disrespect. Yes I appreciate my police officers that help me but people like the man this morning leave a lot to be desired from our police department. When I have called in the past we have received help with dignity and respect. This man left a lot to be desired.

Hopefully our homes and cars in Bartram Creek do not get broken into so we don’t have to call your department to get treated like crap.

And hopefully you will do something about this man’s behavior.

Thank you

Sometimes people use "respect" to mean "treating someone like a person" and sometimes they use "respect" to mean "treating someone like an authority"
And sometimes people who are used to being treated like an authority say “if you won’t respect me I won’t respect you” and they mean “if you won’t treat me like an authority I won’t treat you like a person”
And they think they’re being fair but they aren’t, and it’s not okay.

Plus I heard they don’t like liberty or freedom.

Officer R.L. Gregg stopped to help me today as I was broken down on side of I95. She went above and beyond to help, going to buy me a quart of oil to see if that would help. She offered me a ride, tried to call road rangers. She was very concerned for my welfare. I love knowing that there are officers like that working for our sheriff's office. Thank you Officer Gregg. We have a problem going on where I work that involves damage to over 30 cars. When one of the employees tried to talk to a JSO officer about it, the officer blew it off and told him that it wasn’t possible that it was vandalism and it was probably just road damage. 30 cars? That’s not enough for you to even feign an interest? Not cool. Afficher la suite

This happened last night: Shout out to Officer C.P. Carter with JSO! He is one the nicest cops I've ever dealt with. After he came to our house he went to investigate and instead of calling me (like he said he would do) he actually came back to our house to let us know what happened and what was going to be done! Very happy with the outcome! Afficher la suite

If y’all go through this page you will see nothing but black people with arrested on top of their faces ... knowing damn well white people out here doing some sick ass shit .. Go through their pics y’all. The ones with white people have “love” reactions and the black people got the wow and angry one ... This is the reason why their isn’t any good white people. At the end of the day the majority of their race sees criminals, when they commit the worst crimes even fucking imaginable. They disgust me so much it’s appaling. The hate they have on the black race is sad. They view themsleves as gods amongst us: they govern us and control us. We still enslaved. They make us look so damn bad on media, white school shooters don’t recieve this much hate, with collages of pictures so it can further imply how “hood” he was. Y’all are pathetic. You got black cops on this page who are just as blind to see what the white police officers are doing to their own kind. Ain’t no good police officers: the same exact “saving a life” can be done without the badge. It’s an excuse to fuck with people and expect not to get fucked with back. All the black police officers on this page : y’all disgust me. Y’all see how bad they portray us and see how all the white criminals get postings with Love reactions and sad face. You post them for running away and missing. You post us for shootings. Pathetic Afficher la suite

My neighbors threw glass at a car driving by and the cops did nothing. My kids who are 1, 5, 11, and 13 and all their friends saw it. The guy also screamed at my kids as well and they did nothing. The guy have been to prison/jail more than 5 years of his life and the cops did nothing. I asked the cops to have them clean the glass and the cops told us it was our problem. Great work jso. This is why people lose faith in our system. Afficher la suite

Had a run in with a police officer and it was terrible “service”. Had done nothing wrong it’s like there is too many of them, nothing else to do. Budget cuts may be necessary including pay offs or transfers... or at least a shift of focus from bothering law abiding citizens or becoming a “gang unit”. Afficher la suite

I have been around many other law enforcement agencies over the past 25 years. All pale in comparison to JSO. If you disagree but have an opened mind, I invite you to do a ride-a-long, attend a Sheriff's Watch meeting, or join the Citizen's Police Academy for a new perspective. Afficher la suite

So many men and women of integrity doing a job so many are unwilling to do; in spite of the few very vocal big mouths. Hats off to the entire JSO crew.

The police are mindlessly serving our corrupt government masters. They don’t question immoral laws or orders. They don’t respect individual rights to life, liberty or property and they have destroyed due process of law. They operate on threat of force against peaceful people. They somehow manage to justify violence against people who defend themselves and their rights when the police infringe on them. In short, their master is Satan. Afficher la suite

JSO faces adversity every. single. day. They try, to the best of their ability, to protect our City. They take time to talk to and encourage children. They do community walks to show their presence and dedication in a peaceful time. It's nice for a community to see them out other than in an emergency. They help those who need help. They put themselves in the line of danger for our safety. We are very appreciative of the officers protecting our city. Are they perfect? No. Nor is any human on the face of this earth.
THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

JSO employees are incompetent, rude and ignorant. Acknowledge that your officers can make mistakes instead of calling someone a liar, and fix problems instead of screwing people over.
