How does a Muslimah, a wife, a mother, a daughter, contribute to society beyond imagination? How does she pursue her career in great strides and still maintain her modesty and wear the flag of Islam with great pride? What motivates her to reach new heights?
Join us on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 and hear from Sr. Farheen Rizvi and Sr. Zahra al-Alawi on how the Ahlulbayt (a) inspired them to pursue their careers. Sr. Farheen was inspired to pursue a career in the space industry an...d has worked with NASA and Sr. Zahra is an Assistant Chief Editor, Presenter and Producer at Ahlulbayt TV whilst also raising a family.
These are women of inspiration. Women who empower and motivate us to strive and play an integral role in society and in Islam, just like Bibi Fatima (a) did. This event will give us the opportunity to hear their story.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children. Do not delay, purchase yours today!! This event is open to ALL!

The World Federation of KSIMC 's #FatimaInspires initiative is back for a fourth year! Nominate a woman who inspires you in the name of Sayyida Fatima (sa) before the 9th of March and they will share her story! It may be through her community work, career, entrepreneurial skills, involvement in activities, or anything which has made a difference to peoples lives. Here's a nomination for one of our JCC community members, Alina Fazal Juma!
We have our first #FatimaInspires nomination!
Sabireen Dharsi has nominated Alina Fazal Juma:
Alina is always going above and beyond her call of duty to ease th...e lives of those around her, especially young mothers. She has conducted Arabic art and calligraphy courses as well as facilitated a Mother’s Aqaid course within her own home with the resident aalimah. When a need in the community was recognized to have classes tailored towards mothers with young children, Alina stepped up to ensure it happened! Even if that meant she needed to offer her house as the location. I pray Allah (swt) continues to give Alina the courage and ability to perform acts of obedience in His pleasure.
