Food was really great, but service was amazing. Theres not many Ethiopian restaurants near Sydney, but this ranks with the ones I've been to in New York and San... Francisco. Lovely caring people making great food always makes you want to come back.

So much yum! A delicious final serving of Ethiopian food tonight, it is such an amazing restaurant with tremendous food and service! I'm sad to see them close but look forward to one day tasting the food again! Thanks, once again!

Great food, great service. Love the platter, how it's served and showing the kids how to eat with their hands. The owner is very involved with the diners and go...es out of his way to accommodate any requests. He stops at every table to have a chat and is truly a genuine nice and friendly guy. Love the food at Jambo Jambo Africa. Generous servings, yummy Ethiopian food in my tummy. You should bring a few friends so you can sample more dishes. To be honest, on par with the Ethiopian restaurant I used to visit in DC.

Had a great big combo platter of Ethiopian food on my Birthday in November and it was just so nice to have gone to an amazing restaurant that focuses on food from Ethiopia & Africa.

We went to celebrate mother's day last year, the whole experience exceeded our expectation. The food was great with great reception. Definitely I'll go back & recommend to anyone who wants to have a taste of Ethiopian exotic dishes.

I have to recommend this place! It's the only restaurant seving Ethiopian food in Sydney, and not only is it delicious, but very authentic. The food, service and decor took me back to Addis Ababa. Five stars!!

Was here last night for a birthday dinner. Our group of 16 were well looked after. Fantastic service and delicious authentic Ethiopian food. The Gebeta and Goden Tibs is a must. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Fantastically hospitable host ensured we left with suitably extended bellies!! Great food, very different from any other Sydney restaurant I've eaten at. Quality ingredients, plentiful amounts, entertaining eating style and full of unique flavours.

Dear Valued Customers,

Thank you all for the support you have given me over the last 4 years. Due to the plaza's upcoming demolation notice, we are forced to close down the restaurant on the 9th of September.
We accept bookings untill the 8th of September.

...

For the last 3 years i have been going through pain with my shoulders and hands. I have had multiple surgeries and there are more surgeries that i will be getting. I will be taking time off to recover.

Hopefully we will be back and see you all somewhere in the future!!
