I am originally from England, and have had a love of helping people my whole life. I understand the variables with buying or selling your home and have worked as a broker in San Diego for the past 16 years, now living and working in Bend. I work closely with all involved, and ensure everyone is understood, comfortable and satisfied.
I discovered Bend Premier Properties the first time I searched and found that their commitment, professionalism and commitment matched my own. If you’d like to work with someone who not only loves Bend and all it’s surrounding communities, who knows how hard a transition it can be from one home to another, from another town or state to another, look no further because I have done that myself. Having moved for the first time in many years, not just across town but from another state, I understand the trepidations, the concerns and the processes to get you up and running here in Bend, from meeting new people, getting your bearings, finding services, even obtaining your Oregon drivers license and car registration. I have gone through the process and am here to assist you in every way I can.
My love of community, being able to help, and meet new people is very important. I have found, here in Bend, that is something that everyone enjoys. I love to ski, and joining skiing groups here has helped me tremendously, Mt Bachelor far exceeds all expectations in a ski mountain and during the summer it’s fun to hike as well. I was a local in the Tahoe basin for many years, and never thought I would find anywhere else that could rival but I have.
I also love to hike, there are so many wonderful areas to discover in and around Bend, Pilot Butte is right in the middle of town and, although the road is closed during the winter months, you can hike to the top all year round and the views are stunning, especially on a ‘Mt Hood’ day when you can see her off in the distance! Smith Rock, one of our most scenic areas, also takes you back to when the west really was wild and you can imagine the first settlers visiting and just being in awe, not to mention Tumalo Falls and many other water falls within hiking distance of a main road.
In the summer I have my paddle board, it’s a compromise from the past few years when I raced sail boats weekly out of San Diego, not as fast but on the water but nonetheless the Deschutes River offers me a chance to be on the water once again!
