As we all face the challenges posed by a deadly virus, my writer friend, Susan Clough Wyatt, just published a very relevant personal history of another virus that swept the country some years ago. Polio. The book is a lovely tribute to her father who suffered from the ravages of that disease, but met the obstacles with a resilient smile.
