Spent the past couple days at legendary Avatar Studios lending some ears to Anat Cohen's mixing session, realizing to what remarkable depths her musical delivery has evolved since I began playing with her. A beautiful interpreter of songs ...and a poetic storyteller of music. Recording and mixing engineer James Farber is perhaps unparalleled in his ability to create truthful sonic imagery.
