This morning, upon reflecting on the journey to the United States Congress, my heart is filled with gratitude. I am eternally grateful for my wonderful, Godly wife, Tiffany, and my entire family who stood firmly beside me and never failed in giving me their loving support throughout this difficult journey.

I am grateful to my amazing campaign team and all of our volunteers who worked tirelessly in a very challenging environment to earn the trust of the people in the second Congressional district of our “Sweet Home Alabama.”

I am grateful to all of my supporters for their graciousness, encouragement, contributions, and unwavering faith in me through all the highs and lows that were apart of the last eleven months.

Although the results of the run-off election last night were not what we had hoped or prayed for, we walked away with confidence knowing that we gave it our all in the arena, fighting the good fight for our conservative Alabama values with honor and integrity.

I congratulate Barry Moore and his team on a hard fought win. I love our great country and I love our great state. I will continue to support my community and the people within it. You all have given me so much encouragement and support, and for that, I am forever grateful!
