As the polls wind down to a close, I want to thank everyone who engaged with me through this season to challenge the status quo of our American politics and consider together how we can strive to do better by prioritizing justice, mercy, and humility among neighbors and demand accountability from our public servants. That goes for those who eventually voted for me or not.

This has been, from the start, an exploratory endeavor and a learning experience. The primary goal was ...to be sure that there was someone who cares for us on the ballot for Congress. With all that in mind I must say it's been a success.
