Yesterday I attended the official opening of Foxlake Dundee's cable wakeboarding centre at City Quay with my colleague Councillor Lynne Short. There are more exciting developments planned for the City Quay area going forward and this represents just the beginning. This investment is being made possible thanks to £1 million funding from The Scottish Government towards a number of projects at City Quay to help unlock the economic potential of the area.

Tomorrow (Saturday) at the Overgate between 9am and 2.30pm, The Scottish Government will be holding its latest roadshow event to provide information about job opportunities at the new Scottish Social Security Agency, which is to be headquartered in Dundee.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please encourage them to attend.

The new agency will provide 750 jobs in the city, with the first round of recruitment now open for 80 jobs.
