    Quiet a few years ago I arrived at a venue called Red Rocks. I was struck by this amazing awe inspiring place. The Rocks reminded me of sacred places at home in Australia. The golden magical red of Uluru , the Olgas, Purnululu , the Kimber...leys. We were opening up for the Dave Mathews Band . I thought to myself ,"MAYBE one day we'll be able to headline this place.... Maybe ". It became a major goal for me in the U.S. For years we opened up for great bands at this venue . Paid our dues and served our apprenticeship . Then one day ten years later we were at a place where that dream, goal , intention , aspiration seemed not so far away and we plunged in and leapt into our first headline of Red Rocks. It was like riding a wild horse. Soooo different than opening. The night was ours and it came with a massive energy. 45 minute sets opening are amazing and although you are out to take heads and impress it nothin like having to HOLD The space for a night. Man I was scared. I lost a lot of my voice by the third song . Altitude , nerves , a massive promo day, a live video streaming and recording for a DVD took its toll. But the horse didn't kick me off and it was an exhilarating ride to dream fruition . Backstage the walls are filled with photos of my heroes . These legends who have played this sacred place and have become part of its story. When I arrived to play our third headline show yesterday I saw this on the wall !!! Never in my wildest did I think this would, could , should happen . Pretty surreal . Red Rocks is a special place to me . It holds and represents so much. To have a place on these walls is such and honour and buzz. Wow wow wow !!! Thank you to my absolutely awesome team and fans that help make these dreams real . I know it's a bit of a " look at me moment " but I had to share it. Couldn't keep this to myself.
