With school almost over and summer just around the corner, here's some great screen-free games to keep kids (and yourself) amused.

It seems that the children of the forest enjoy our little John Janzen Nature Center pond as much as the human children! Thanks to the ladies in the reception area for the great photos of this moose on the loose!

Wow! Who would have thought that there are so many health benefits in spending time in nature; it's a good thing that Edmontonians have the River Valley and Elk Island National Park so close by. What's your favorite place to hike?

It's National Aboriginal Day, the annual celebration of our country's First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. The John Janzen Nature Centre is located on Treaty 6 territory; we would like to acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors footsteps have marked this territory for centuries.
