Thank you to all that supported this campaign this election cycle.
2020 was not an easy year for smaller start-up campaigns, especially if it was your first like mine. We had missed out on (at least) two fundraisers. Our main source of outreach was dispersed (door knocking, public speaking). Public events were almost entirely canceled and media development for signs, websites, social media ads was either halted or heavily delayed.....
But know what, it’s ok. No one on our tea...m contracted the virus. We developed a new way of campaign communication online and through phone/text banks. Also, it didn’t stop us from getting on the ballot and fighting for our community, Medicare for all, public college, campaign finance reform, ending homelessness and poverty, and ending war.
I wish Joan the best of luck in the general. Andy Biggs is not an easy opponent in this district. Frankly he is a monster like Trump and any democrat in that seat would serve the American people better than he would.
That being said, our involvement in politics is just getting started. So please stay involved with our page, we have some big announcements coming in the next month or two. This race did not discourage us but made us stronger in every way as we take up the mantle and fight for progressive ideas and the implementation of intelligence and morality in US politics!
Thank you all for your support and outreach for this campaign. The positive energy we’ve received over the last month was truly heartwarming. Please spread the word to your friends and family into the future; this is only the beginning!
Special thanks to: Judith Coburn, Suzanne Distasso, Ryan Hessen, Elizabeth Quiroga, Dan O’Neal. My deepest regards and thanks, you all are progressive warriors!

It’s election day today! Those who are currently undecided about this election and may be looking at the candidate’s Facebook pages to make a decision, this post is for you:
I’m a music teacher. I love my job, my country, and my family. Music is a large part of my everyday life, it’s how I express my thoughts and feelings as I teach children how to have the same rewarding experience on a daily basis.
I’m running for Congress because I want to help the poor, save the middle cl...ass, and reinvigorate our Arizona educational system. With those like Andy Biggs and Trump in office (millionaires and billionaires) our country is falling apart at the seams because regular people are not being represented and it’s time we had a congress filled with average Americans who know what it’s like to struggle paying bills, or to go without health insurance, or not have the ability to receive a higher education because of the expense.
I have the strongest health care plan in this race by supporting universal healthcare (kind of important in a pandemic), I have a rigorous plan to end homelessness, I support a green new deal to save our planet from pollution and man-made climate change, I support giving our teachers $70,000 annually because they are the hardest working people in this state, and lastly, I support ending these unconstitutional and expensive wars we are in to save us and other parts of the world from our destructive foreign policy decisions.
None of my opponents (Republican or Democrat) support this strong of legislation nor do they even talk about it. I’m not running for myself, I’m running to represent everyone from the least among us in America and to those who never thought they would have a voice. Lastly, unlike those running against me, I do not take corporate money for my campaign. Everything is done from the grassroots to make sure I do not have any divided principles when I sit in Washington as a congressman writing legislation.
Here are a few photos over the last couple of months from our campaign with some of the many volunteers and activists who support us. To all those who cast a vote for me, I am indebted to you in service through policy.
Thank you,
Jon Ireland
