The story of Lazarus has always had a powerful impact on me for many reasons, but two in particular: Jesus wept for the loss of his friend, but then calls him...calls him to rise and come out of his grave. Could you imagine being the spectator, watching this unfold. I personally would be shocked, freaked, excited, to just mention a few reactions.
Jesus calls us into relationship with him.
The goal is heaven, and the journey is not without struggle, but when you call my name... I pray I can rise and follow.
This weekend was a powerful reminder that God’s plan and mission is greater than anything I could dream. I am blessed and honored. Thank you to all those who have and continue to believe in me. “For I know well the plans I have in mind for you—oracle of the LORD—plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope.” #jeremiah2911 #worship #praise #youthministry #musicministry #godisgood #honored #scdyc
