  • Your report on the auto accidents this weekend due to the weather me...ntions that people hit the ruts in the road and lose control, but how about you all look into why we have such ruts in our roads? Terrible road maintenance and the destruction caused by studded tires is making our roads more dangerous. If I was in such an accident due to substandard roads and hydroplaning, I would be furious. I would love to see some real, in-depth reporting about the fact that our roads are dangerous... especially in regards to studded tires. I'm no expert, but plenty of studies done by experts are out there to support the need to get rid of this outdated tire and move to new, very effective snow tires. We passed a new road tax, but let's not spend so much of that money just barely keeping up with the damage being done by studded tires. See More
