My car got stolen from my house. How is it that good ppl have to pay for the ones that make the bad decisions??? I already knew before my car was found where it was thanks to the community that help s...pread the word. I still don't get why we have to pay fines and fees for something we didn't commit. This is another way to take money from good people who actually work hard to have and meet every days needs. I expected a call the same day my car was found not after 2 days of sitting in with the towing company. Now I have to come up with $ to get my car back. So disappointed in this county. A call sooner would of help this single father of 2 save some $. See More

These men and women will truly do whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means they aren't spending time with their families. Thank you for all that you do!

Very professional anytime we needed them. Always there for our family when we called for any type of issue. Great with our children and some even coached them in sports and were great role models. Peo...ple like Lonnie Netzel and Larry Osenga, Chief Michael Gerrard, and Larry Reigner, were the best of the best. And many other great Police Officers like Lt Etzel and Lt Miller and Chief Huff, and too many others on the force to individually name, are still working hard for Kankakee. See More

Great source for local information, weather, road conditions, and alerts. Please, please, please do something about those people who are using the "turn only" lane to pass cars. Someone is going to ...get hurt, if not, killed. Saw a van pass two cars today. Another time, saw a car pass another, then the car that was being passed, sped up and try to force the passing car into the opposite lane. The passing car almost ended up in the ditch on the opposite side. It's ridiculous! See More

After all the recent bullshit involving the Police I just want to say I stand with the police on everything. I can't even begin to understand the danger the Officers put themselves through everyday to... protect citizens. I have nothing but respect for the police. So thank you, to all the Officers no matter how long they have been with us (even the ones that are no longer with us whether deceased or retired). Thank you for risking your lives everyday to ensure our safety. Thank you for continuing to do so even when the media and individuals pin you as bad guys. You guys deserve more credit than you are given. :-) See More

Kenny sez: Hand it to them nobody else tells you your disabled vehicle that is out of traffic will be fine when you call to let them know you have a $60 tow coming later, then turn around and call t...heir Indiana Avenue pirates and have them tow it for $340...makes you think very highly and respectful of them !!!
