HEADLINES 6/25/16
1. The former York County woman who was killed in North Carolina will be laid to rest in York this morning. 27 year old, Amanda Strous was killed last week in her apartment in Charlotte. Her home was then set on fire. Strous was a Dallastown High School and Shippensburg University graduate. She was supposed to get married next month. 28-year-old Mathew Benner is charged with her murder. He was arrested in Nevada.
2. A vigil for the Adams County gir...l who was killed by her father earlier this month in a murder-suicide will be held tonight. 9 year old, Codie Powell died June 12th after being shot several times. Her father, 37 year old, Donald Powell killed himself after killing Codie and wounding her mother. The vigil starts at seven o'clock at Alloway Creek Intermediate School in Littlestown.
3. Right now in Dauphin County, part of the Eisenhower Interchange is closed until Monday morning. Crews are repairing and expanding bridge pavement from the 283 Northbound ramp to the 83 Northbound ramp. If you're looking for a detour - from 283, take 322 East to the Penhar Interchange, then back on 322 Westbound to get to 83 North.

HEADLINES 6/11/16
1. Carlisle police are investigating a homicide. They say someone shot and killed 30 year old, Daniel Harris. It happened just before one this morning inside the Haines Stackfield American Legion on West Penn Street. Police say a large crowd was leaving when they arrived. So far, they have not made any arrests.
2. Newville police have called off the sexting investigation at Big Spring High School. After about a month, they say most of the 26 studen...ts believed to be involved are still refusing to give police their passcodes. Investigators did unlock two of the phones and found inappropriate pictures in an app called KiK. Officers say KiK is an international company, that won't identify its users even with a search warrant. The phones will be returned to the students.
3. There are two road work projects in Dauphin County that may slow you down this weekend. The ramp from Northbound 283 to Northbound 83 is closed for repairs. It will reopen before rush hour Monday morning. Also, after five delays because of weather, the State Street bridge in Harrisburg is closed. Road crews will be milling and repaving the bridge until about 6am Monday.
