Cozy and friendly place away from the hustle and bustle of the city with really cool staff and amazing breakfast! (not to mention the coffee and the lovely little restaurant Baan Puu across the street!)

Amazing place and amazing hosts. The place is great and the hosts are very kind and helpful. If you're looking for an environmental friendly place to stay, this is the one! Good location, near the loc...als and walkable to the bus terminal. And what I love the most is that they're concerned about the environment and animals. They support the ethical elephant camps you can book a tour there and you'll get a full breakfast for free! We spent a little bit of time talking with P'Noi about the trash hero project and it was amazing to know more about these eco-friendly activities. Thank you P'Noi for everything ka and educating us more about the environment and animal conciseness.

P.S. I like the honey soap in my room very much! Definitely gonna visit you again ka!

Awesome multilingual, kind, eco-friendly and helpful staff!
Perfect silent location (200 meters from main road): restaurants, bars, night street food (noodles till 3 am), 7-eleven, and pharmacies are 10-15 minutes walk.
Reasonable price: double bed, super-fast wifi/line free internet (fiber optic), private shower, a/c, tv, work desk, wardrobe, private balcony.

A lot of tours can be book there with free breakfast included!

Would love to visit this Residence again!

We had a pleasant stay at Kaysorn. The rooms were clean, shower was nice and warm, and the view was beautiful from our balcony. The only thing to keep in mind are the barking dogs in the late evenin...g/early morning. However, it was a nice place to stay outside of the busy area - there are some very nice cafes and restaurants around the corner (The Honey Corner, The MushRoom, and Pee Dee). It would be helpful if there was a neighborhood map provided with additional things around Kaysorn. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming! They promote a green environment, which is really nice to see and be part of. Kaysorn also offers breakfast, bicycles for use, and a washing machine on site, which are very convenient. Oh and very delicious homemade cookies! Would recommend staying here! See More

i stayed 8 nights at Kaysorn Residence and it's probably one of the "greenest" guesthouses in Thailand. Dominik and Noi have a very high standard in environment protection and reducing waste, which i...s very rare to find in Thailand. The rooms are very clean, affordable, well equipt and super cozy. Bicycles are provided and it is really easy to go around. I had a really nice stay and can recommend Kaysorn Residence without any doubts. When i am back in Chiang Mai i will definitely come back. Kaysorn Residence, what a great place hidden in a narrow street in a nice neighborhood just north from north gate, local food market nearby and lots of eateries nearby. Rooms are neat and quite, there... is old temple complex next door, and the owners from Thailand and Switzerland are super friendly. We got some excellent free maps of Chiang Mai city, as well as free bicycles to roam the streets of old town and out. This place supports " Trash Hero" a local movement for cleaning Thailand's beaches from plastic. Speaking of which, the management encourages all guest not to use plastic water bottles, instead they supply a stainless steel bottle, which is reusable and water is free of charge! Great travel info on the premises and the rural areas as well. The courtyard garden of the residence has a Zen feeling, for it is filled with plants, stepping stones and loads of tranquility. Wonderful place, newer building, very clean and well equipped. Quiet but very near to lots of sightseeing. I personally appriciated the amount of temples near, which are not so overcrowded by tourists..., but same beautiful, quiet- so the energy breathes on you. For those who want to see the most famous temples- not a problem, as you can easily walk 20min to old city, or also borrow a bike- then 10min.
There is lots of great places to eat or buy fresh fruit, vege or clothes very near.
The owners, Noi and Dominic, are amazing people, very helpful, friendly and happy.
Anything you ask they help, very knowledgable and generous.
Can't recommend Kaysorn enough!

Kaysorn Residence is literally "a home away from home". It doesn't have the glamor and hype of big name hotels but it has everything you need to make your stay special. The location, the proximity to ...key attractions and the ease with which you can travel to any point within Chiang Mai are just some of the things which make this place great. Although "owners" would not be the best way to describe them, P'Noi and Dominik don't just open the doors to their house but, in fact, to their hearts for the guests. Everything they did for us during our stay had a personal touch and we could see that we weren't the exceptions for such treatment. Another thing that touched our hearts was the numerous social and charitable drives that they actively support and encourage all the patrons to follow. All in all, a perfect place for our family stay and we look forward to staying with them on our future vacations in Chiang Mai. See More

We really enjoyed our time at Kaysorn Residence. We've stayed for a month so far.
It’s location is very quiet, which is perfect for us, but still not too far from all the action. Especially if you use... the bicycle - which they have!
The owners, Noi and Dominik, are very sweet and helpful. Always available for a good advice or for borrowing an umbrella...
The rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. (It was the only place I saw that has both fan and AC)
We will definitely be back.

My experience at Kaysorn residence was one of a kind. Forget all you know about guest houses and imagine being hosted by a friend. This is exactly how Noi (the owner ) made us feel. She went over the ...mile to always please us and help us even when we were not staying with her anymore. The guest house is so cute and confortable. It is well locate being in a quite neighborhood with plenty of options of restaurants around. Thank you Noi for everything. And we believe this is not the last time we will see each other. Keep on doing what you are doing ! Much love See More

Nice house in Chiangmai and a reasonable distance from the old town with the bicycle. (You can get one from Noi and I like that one from Japan.) Noi is so good and help us a lot. Haha, she is very yo...ung and you can guess her age.
Come here and make friends. You will love it. If possible, I will come back and stay here again. And now I have to study and save money to support my next tour to Chiangmai.

I enjoyed very much the four nights at Kaysorn Residence. A big, clean and comfortable room in a quiet area in Chiangmai city. Love the owners' ideas of saving environment by refusing plastic bags, an...d support 'trash hero'. Kaysorn also provides bicycles for their guests to bike around the city. Thank you Noi & Dominique for a warm welcome. I would recommend my friends to stay at Kaysorn Residence. See More
