It was on this day 76 years ago that 2,403 Americans were killed during an attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor. These innocent souls were taken from us too early, and we take a special moment today to honor and remember their lives. May their names forever be emblazoned on our monuments, written about in our history books, and treasured in our hearts. God bless the men and women of Pearl Harbor. And may God bless America, the land of the free.

The Border Patrol needs to be adequately funded and the agents need to be compensated for the work that they are doing to protect our nation - their pay is the lowest among DHS employees. This dramatic rise in violence against our #BorderPatrol agents is unacceptable. We need real border protections, including a wall. #BuildTheWall
