Supported Employment Awareness
Some of us are having a ball at the KenCrest formal tonight!
On Monday, October 24, the Quiver Farm Projects visited our Early Learning Center in Kensington. The kids and staff enjoyed being upclose and personal with all of the animals! This traveling farm was brought to us by the Lois B. Cohan Museum’s to Go Grant, a part of the Lokoff Foundation.
I have worked,and
met some wonderful people at Ken Crest 8who's beliefs mirrors mine, that Everyone Deserves a Fulfilled Life, A Home, not a House,We have often heard how lucky the residence are to ...have us,But We (Devon)kno w how Lucky, and Bless that we are to have Them. Real Talk !Also We at Devon would like to say to Mr.J.Mcfal ls Not Goodbye, or Happy Retirement , Instead Blessing to your new Beginnings .And Thank You, We heard a lot of Great things about you, from the late Robert (Bob)Fleec e.Peace!!!
Kencrest continues to employ a violent employee who attacked a coworker who was no threat to her. They instead chose to fire the employee who was attacked and keep the violent aggressive
woman. As a p...erson with multiple family members with physical challenges I would not feel that I could COMFORTABL Y leave my loved one in the care of a facility who cares more about tenure than making sure that there are nonviolent and aggressive bullies looking over my family. If she would choke an employee IMAGINE WHAT SHE WOULD DO TO SOMEONE WHO COULDNT SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES
