HORRIBLE billing and poor customer service. AFTER the therapist told us we were not going to be charged for 3 visits because it was approved by insurance we started our sons therapy. We made it clear ...we could not afford out-of-poc ket. Now you are sticking us with a $700 bill we NEVER agreed to pay. The billing is so behind we did not realize we were accruing this debt. You are unwilling to speak to Carecentri x to have them clear this debt. My husband and I have called your company and Carecentri x just to get the run around. We even emailed you text messages between the therapist and my husband proving our case. What else do you need to show it is not our fault. We NEVER would have scheduled visits had I known I would be going through this trouble. See More

My son loves his therapist. In the short time that he has been visiting our home I have seen so much improvemen t, and I can't wait to see all the progress in the future as my child grows and learns. I...t's scary when someone you do not know comes to your home and is going to work with your child. I was worried and unsure how they would interact and if my older child would feel left out. To my surprise all of my worries/ questions had gone right out window after just 1-2 visits. He includes my 3 yr old daughter in their activities and the dynamic between the three of them is so fun to watch. If you are looking for the right therapist for your child, I highly recommend kidsCare. Our therapist is Nick Crossland and he is wonderfull y. See More

Today I spoke with Kenya and Stephen.
We're having an issue with our bill... more directly, that we have a bill at all. We were told that our cost to have our 2 year old evaluated would be a little o...ver $20. So we had the evaluation and were told that he would benefit from speech therapy. We were told it would cost the same for each visit so we prepaid for 8 visits.
I'm a stay at home mom, I bring in no money. My husband's salary is what supports our family. My husband didn't even want to do speech therapy for our 2 year old because we have an almost 5 year old with Juvenile Myositis, she has actual medical needs important to her health. The only reason he agreed to get the 8 sessions was because it was just over $20 per visit and we would see if it improved his speech before deciding on any more therapy for him. So we prepaid for our sessions.
After the 8 sessions were over, we didn't see enough improvemen t to justify the cost any further. He was 2years and 2 months old, it's not uncommon for some kids, especially younger siblings, to take their time in speaking.
Well, we just received a bill for over $800 saying we owe that amount toward our deductible . How could this be? Well apparently our insurance company told them we had no deductible and that all services should be charged to us at our 20% coinsurace rate.
So because of a miscommuni cation that we weren't even a part of, we owe a bunch of money that we did not agree to spend.
Resolution ? Stephen said he could tell bcbs, our insurance company, that they billed in error, then bill us the cash pay rate of $85/ session... so with the money we've already paid, we'll owe just under $500.
Yay?
Alex, our speech therapist was great, super nice, my son had fun with her, but we never would have even considered speech therapy at that amount. $85 for a 30-40 minute play session is excessive, for us.
Moral of the story, don't blindly believe that your insurance verificati on was correct. Call to double check. See More

We found Kids Care speech therapy based on the recommenda tion from our pediatrici an. At first to be honest I was disappoint ed that they don't take our insurance however I am very happy with the serv...ice and flexibilit y. Our therapist Whittney is amazing. My son has completed his second session and we can already see a big difference in his confidence . So in spite of everything financial- we are very pleased and would highly recommend their services. I'm only giving KidsCare one star because zero stars is not an option. From day one we've had problems with this clinic. The communicat ion here is very poor. We've been stood up by our therapist (just... didn't show up), we've had our therapist come on 2 different occasions when we didn't have anything on the schedule, we were put on hold by the billing team for over a month (telling us we had no benefits) when after a month's worth of ME making calls and appeals, our claims finally paid. And when I confronted them for their poor billing practices, they had the nerve to tell me that they have done nothing but "bend over backwards for me." That is the billing team's job- to bend over backwards and fight claims. I used to work in a billing department for another pediatric clinic, and we fought extensivel y for our patients. Here, they tried to stick me with $1000 bill that most parents would have paid if they didn't know better. Lastly, you only get 30 minutes (more like 25 minutes) of service for the price of what most other clinics charge for an hour of service. We are only still using their services because there is a 6 month wait list for other ST services. But we will be leaving as soon as we can. See More

Tammie was supposed to be my daughters speech therapist yesterday was supposed to be our evaluation she re scheduled twice and then at the time of the appointmen t she says she's not going to be able t...o come because she can't find a parking space she was already gone at that point and I went outside to n look there was plenty of parking including spots directly infront and going down the block. When I called to complain they told me that I needed to try to get her a parking pass. Basically she's above parking on street. See More

Samantha is our speech therapist and we couldn't be more happy with her I've seen real progress in my son and he loves her and can't wait for their visits. Today though I came to love her even more wh...en she bought my son a Christmas present and even though it was just something small it was something he loved, the fact that she got to know my child well enough to know what he likes and remember it out of all the other kids she sees in a day stole my heart. I would recommend her to any one she does amazing with him. See More
