After 3 weeks of flu and not having the energy to eat anything, I was kindly given some of my favourite treats, Kitschnbakes delicious chocolate brownies by a wonderful friend who knows me too well. ...To anyone that’s not tasted these then you must !! They simply are the best brownies you will ever taste.

Thank you so much, they were a lovely surprise and I certainly feel a lot better xxxxxx

My husband had the home made fish finger baguette with home made chutney and tartare sauce for lunch when we stopped off after a long cycle today, he was still extolling its virtues as we continued ou...r journey up the road. He took a punt on something different and said it was fantastic. See More

Popped in for lunch with the girls yesterday, had a rather large pram in tow. We were accomodated easily and the food was awesome as always!! Best scones anywhere in my opinion!

In with all four grandchildren on Saturday. Staff coped well and politely with the chaos we generated. Food and drinks as usual were excellent. Great to have such a fantastic resource in Newport-on-Tay.

Go here a lot as its local, and the food is amazing. Surpassed itself today though with afternoon tea for 3 adults and 3 toddlers. No tiny sandwich, tiny scone and mini bit of cake here. Lots of sa...ndwiches, savoury pastries followed by large slices.of cake and then scones, biscuits, meringue, oatie and traybake. Even an advanced cake eater like me couldn't manage and had to bring a goodie bag home See More

After hearing numerous people say how fantastic Kitschinbake is we finally paid our first visit today and we will certainly be back. All of the food we had was generous, well presented, promptly serve...d and most importantly delicious. We all opted for a different cake (it would have been rude not too) and it was decided the Banoffee cake and Hummingbird cakes were the highlights. The only issue we had was why it had taken us so long to visit. Well done Kitschinbake. See More

I expected the cake to be much more moist to be honest. Soup was lovely and the coffee however was disappointed with how dry the vice versa cake was :(

I have to admit I'm a little sad to shut the door on 2013 as it has been a BRILLIANT year for us all at KitschnBake. Between working with John Whaite Great British Bake Off ; winning not one but TWO Scottish Scottish Baking Awards and the opening of our cafe. We've worked really REALLY hard but had an absolute blast. Working with people like Kit & Kit & Caboodle; The Ochil Fudge Pantry; Literary Dundee; Patter; Photos By Zoe; Hugh's Place; Peel Farm - food, home and gift; Chillilicious; Cheeky Chair; A Dandy Design; Sarah Gray's Jam and not forgetting the lovely Jessie's Kitchen lot. So from all of us at KitschnBake to all of you we say thank you, we couldn't have done it without you! Come on 2014, let's be having you! XXX
