I recently received a knitterly email advertising their newest shawl kit. Subject: Knitterly's Unique "Twirl" Nordic Wind Shawl Kit. The email goes on to describe: Knitterly's newest shawl kit is a ...variation of the Nordic Wind shawl knitted in simple stockinette stitch in rustic colors for a beautifully modern feel.

Cabinfour designed the shawl pattern. She was not given credit for the design. Using the words "variation" and "Twirl" and claiming the shawl pattern as Knitterly's is a surreptitious way to get around copyright infringement. And not the pay the designer a royalty for the design. If any shawl kits were purchased the designer should be paid a royalty. The shawl interestingly has been taken off the web site. I am choosing not to purchase products from Knitterly.

This store is amazing. It has such a wonderful selection. Shelli is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. I appreciate that she brought up her reservations on my yarn choice for a particular pattern... based on wearability and use (the yarn I chose would have been awful!), so that I could make something that I would be forever happy with. Lovely, lovely store. I was extremely happy with the selection of local yarns, too. I wish it were closer, but I will totally make it a stop whenever driving north! See More

So glad I stopped here. Wish I had more time. I will definitely want to drop by again when we are in the area. The ladies were so sweet and chatted with us and told me about the local yarn I ended ...up getting. Can't wait to use my yarn. :) See More

This place in GREAT. As a "self-taught" knitter, only making scarves, I'm always a bit intimidated to go into really fine knit shops - but not here! The staff is really friendly and extremely knowled...geable. The selection and quality of yarns is the best around- you won't find this stuff at Joanns or Michael's. I've now taken some classes and am working on my first sweater...
If you are within driving distance you MUST stop in here. If not, their website is very nice and you can order online, but you'll miss out on the great atmosphere and lovely people.

Loved this place! I want to move out there just so I can visit Knitterly every day and sit and knit with the lovely employees working there. So many gorgeous yarns, no pressure from the employees, b...ut they were friendly, offered opinions and anecdotes about the yarn choices I was making. I could have stayed there all day! See More

Between the east and west coast this is by far one of the BEST yarn stores I've ever been to. From their diverse selection to knowledge of their fare, an outstanding fiber collective with a wonderful ...series of classes. The only store I've ever known to carry Knit Collage which sealed the deal for me. Keep it up and hope to be back soon! :) See More

Great yarns! also a really good resource for related accessories & supplies.
Wonderfully knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming owners and staff. It's a great place to learn--excellent group classes, as... well as personalized instruction. I like their willingness to help with starting a project as well as assisting with works in progress. A fabulous hometown yarn store :) See More

Catherine, one of customers finished a beautiful baby pullover sweater during one of SJ's Thursday night Help Classes. We think she did a great job. #pureandsimplepatterns #madelinetosh #babysweaters @ Knitterly

This amazing Moto Vest is made from Freia Chunky yarn and is knitted by Shellie, who visits Knitterly whenever she visits from Hawaii. She added a hood and a zipper down the front. I am in love 😍 with the colorway and her awesome additions to the pattern. Who doesn't love a hood!!! @ Knitterly
