  6. A lot of my clients ask me what the difference is between getting a print through my site and sending a digital file to a consumer site or printer. Besides the photoshopping and post production I can do on the file per request my prints all... get sent to my favorite Professional Lab WHCC via my studio which is programed with the same color profile as the lab itself. Take a look at this photographers blog post, here she compares prints from her prof. lab to consumer labs she might frequent if not a professional photog...Meer weergeven
  7. Wow, what a month and a half we've had!
We officially moved into our new studio space. Drum roll please.......... Studio 7!
I am sooooo excited. Of course it was completely bare and white when we moved in and then we put all of our "stuff" in it. Which made me feel slightly like a hoarder b/c it was lining every wall and inch of desk space with only paths to move around! Haha. ...
So for the first few weeks, When I wasn't taking pictures of beautiful babies around New England, I was knee deep in an episode of hoarders trying to filter out all of the favorites and donating the rest to our local community services thrift shop and Teen center at the Y. We have a few junky straglers that I need to part with, but anyone addicted to pinterest will understand when I say "I might need them for a project" hehehe.
Now we are in our build it, re-upholster it, paint it, and clean it stage. Which has turned out to be the most time consuming but also rewarding part so far.Thank god I've had some amazing help from friends and family and of course my main man Vin! But I'd like to give a special shot out to my Mama Dukes; the one and only Vicki Lynn. She can do it all folks! We just finished reupholstering an antique victorian spring bottom, horse hair filled, love seat. What a beast! I couldn't have done it without her; literally! Wanna see our process pics????
Keep your eyes peeled for a massive blog post of all of our work so far in Studio 7.
Next comes designing and decorating, my favorite!
