Absolutely amazing place. I am super particular and 5 stars is really not enough. My little black pug was well cared for every time he stayed here, which was often. We stopped going because we move...d and never found a place even remotely comparable. The owner is a super friendly man and he truly cares for the pets that come through each day. The employees used to send me videos of my pug on the treadmill for exercise,because I asked them to exercise him. It was the little extras like this that set LA Dog Works apart. This is an exceptionally well run facility for dogs. My puppy Ernie was trained by Andrew Rosenthal who is the owner. Andrew is caring and also expert in his field. The staff are friendly and all of t...hem are animal lovers. The indoor dog parks are well maintained and a great place for dogs to exercise and play. All of the services are first rate including daycare, boarding and grooming. This is a one stop shop for all of your dogs needs. I highly recommend them. See More

We stayed in LA overnight and had to leave our 5 month old puppy overnight for the first time in his life. We were nervous but felt very comfortable after meeting Andrew and his fabulous staff. We w...ere given a full tour of the facility and were able to watch our puppy interact with the other dogs before we left him. They do a full evaluation so your dog is placed in the appropriate area. Our dog loved it and already bonded with the staff. We were extremely pleased overall and had a relaxing and fun night out without worries because we knew our puppy was in great hands. See More

Andrew keeps saying it was a reality show and not real? Did they stick a hand up your back side and make you talk and yell like a puppet? Was it a fake you? When Marcus told the whole group they were ...not going to be yelled at and treated better you just stood there for FAKE TV? Did Marcus make up the fact that you only make $78 and you just went along with it? I'm sure the employees you have now will not last. I watched the TV show called the profit, and I also assumed that it was a terrible place. So Not True! I called the place, and one of the employees answered. He was really nice, and he told me that he... was there while they where filming the show. It turns out that he, and many of the other employees had a great relationship with Andrew. Andrew is not nearly as bad of a boss as the show made it seem. Of coarse, the nice parts where cut out of the show. Don't judge this place by a tv show. They treat dogs great and they have great staff and a great facility. I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a place to take their dog. See More

I was searching for a doggie daycare in my area. All the facilities looked okay, the first one I went to smelled so much, I could imagine my dog coming back home smelling like pee. But the moment I ...entered the facility, the place smelled so CLEAN and fresh, the staff was super friendly, and very knowledgeable about dogs which was a big plus for me. I love that they would send home report cards, would tell me about his day, or tell me to check out the instagram feed for his picture that day. My dog and I love coming here. See More

Owner, Andrew, has got to be the rudest, self-righteous person to ever walk this planet. He has no concept of customer service or people skills, so I doubt highly any dog would be treated any better. ...Save your time, check out D Pet Hotel right across the street from LA Dogworks, or the many others that are in the close vicinity. Andrew has lost so many clients from simply being who he is, as well as how he is portrayed on The Profit. Stay clear of this man, the fish sinks from the head, his staff are unhappy, and so the dogs get less than they pay for. Shame he gives doggy daycares a bad name! See More

As a former "fan" of this business, having toured the impressive facility back in 2011, I was super-nervous to see this place featured on The Profit. I mean, I can totally see it becoming yet another... corporate-style industry giant like Petsmart. Not to say that there's enough business in my small town to attract a franchise. But still, I could totally see them in other big cities. But then, after watching the show... nope, not worried. I've worked for bosses like that, who just want clones of themselves who can read their mind. Sorry, not the way the world works!! I'd love a clone of myself to work with me at my daycare... but then again, I'd just be driving myself crazy. :) I totally empathize with the employees and wish them luck! See More

Shocking owner from what was shown on TV. I would never trust him with my dogs, it just isn't safe.

You also seem to be struggling with when the show was shot. On one reply you put 2009 and the next ...one after 2013. You used 2009 to make it look like you are still in business for longer after the show was shot.
