I finally got to see for myself what all the buzz was about from my sisters speaking so highly of this place for their kids. My niece had her birthday party her...e and it was perfect for not only the kids but parents too! Just enough space and entertainment for them to play and enjoy themselves without the parents having to worry. Everyone who worked there was so hands on including Barbara and Beverly who were present during the whole party and making sure everyone was fed and comfortable. It says a lot when staff are happy to serve and with a smile no matter what kind of establishment. Liz was there til the very end to see everyone on the way out and make sure everyone left happy! Great job! See More

Let me preface this by saying my kids had a wonderful time here. It is an incredibly well-designed play space that is fun, clean and stocked with a wide assortm...ent of toys and inspired, creative play areas.

My one complaint is with regards to their "no shoes/socks-only" policy. I LOVE this policy; shoes contain a lot of contaminants and germs, so I am totally onboard anytime a play space has this rule. When we arrived, I was unaware of this policy so did not have any socks. Luckily they have some you can purchase. However, I pointed out to the girl at the desk that out of the other approximately 10 parents and kids already there, only two had socks on. She nicely reinforced that this is their policy and that she would talk with the other people about removing their shoes and donning socks.

However, for the two hours that we were there, only about half the people that came in after us had socks. The others were either barefoot or had shoes (the majority). I felt like some people got preferential treatment in this area and this is frustrating.

This policy is really only useful if everyone is required to wear socks or, at the very least, remove their shoes. And this includes staff members who were ALL wearing their shoes in the play area (one male staff member who
I believe was facilitating one of the classes had removed them by the very end). Either make everyone remove their shoes or don't make anyone do it.

We will be going back because my kids enjoyed it so much, at which point I hope this policy is better enforced so people aren't forced to unfairly and unnecessarily spend their money.

This store is beautiful, the selection is incredible, and the staff is so kind and helpful. We came in to check out a craft activity, and my kids had a blast. ... I took one star off of my rating because the cost of the play space is prohibitively expensive. For my three kids and I to purchase a one-day pass, it would cost $50! No sibling or twin discount on one-day passes. While the space is incredible, we will stick with our local place that charges $15 per day. See More

Everyone that works there goes above and beyond with the kids. They are very flexible. My kids love the play space and we have gone to many meet and greets and ...special tea parties and I am always impressed with the organization and thoughtfulness the staff puts into them. Highly recommend them. See More

Amazing play space highly recommended. We went in for a character visit and spent the whole day! As a preschool teacher I was quite impressed with the type of t...oys they had out. Especially the waterplay on the patio! The walk up loft slide is the space of childhood dreams! My husband and I planned to stop in after a very busy morning where we hadn't even eaten yet. Bought a snack, some fancy (nonalcoholic) drinks, and stayed for the day! My two-year-old son was fast asleep almost before we even hit the car. It was a GREAT family day. See More

The kids had a ton of fun. So much to do, very clean, easy to keep an eye on the kids. GREAT for imaginative play, and self directed play. Plenty of parking, huge gift store. I highly recommend.

I took my granddaughter for the first time, I thought it was excellent, my granddaughter absolutely loved it. We will be going back & I will be taking my grands...on also. Staff were all very informative & courteous , the place is very clean & people in there were cleaning continuously washing something down the children had played on, the bathrooms were clean, I loved how u got a band & u could play 10am till 6 pm. You could leave & in the plaza they had different stores, u could go to subway for lunch then come back in, they do sell snacks at the learning express. And on certain days children also get to do a craft that is free. It is $15 for one child but I pay $12 at BBKidz & I think there was so much more to do here well worth the extra $3. See More

Loved our visit here! Clean, fun, imaginative. My kids played for five hours, stopping just for lunch. Super friendly and helpful staff too. Will definitely be back, and I hope they open more. Would become a member if we lived closer.

Mommy heaven! I love that this place has something for my 8 month old and also for my five year old. Most places cater to a certain age group. Both kids were ha...ppy, unique baby toys, excellent learning spaces for my older child, very friendly staff with kids, and items were constantly being cleaned by staff during the five hrs we were there this week. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! See More

I live in town and so far have been nothing but impressed. We did the play area twice on days when they had an event so it was discounted (it's a bit pricey wh...en paying full price though so not sure we'd go too much) and we attended a birthday party there, and I've been there for shopping numerous times! Nothing but impressed with the place, and the staff! The only thing that would make it better is if the playspace was $10 per child.. or if you do pay $15 for your first child that the second and/or third is less ($5 each), family max of $25 something like that. Went to the grand opening on Sat 9/24 to check out the space and for the Queen Else & Princess Anna sing along. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is an extrem...ely well though out play space - offering diferent imaginative play areas, an indoor slide, a separate infant area and a gymnastic room for more physically active play. I like that 90% of the space allows you to be able to see your kids - so I was able to hang with my baby in the baby spot while my 4 year old played in the rest of the space. The only real issues I had were with the toy store - a lot of ride on toys that biggers kids were using in spite of the crowds (which made it trickier to navigate with two small children) and there was no clear delineation for where the check out lines were, so I ended up getting cut in line while I was waiting for a cashier to open. But I'm sure it was all because it was the grand opening weekend and it will not deter me from visiting in the future. The staff is all super friendly, and part of the reason why we will definite be back. See More

We had my daughters 2nd birthday here and it was a wonderful experience! Jeannie, the party planner, was incredibly organized and helpful throughout the entire ...process and the staff during the party made sure everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. The cake from Prince Street was delicious. We literally just showed up, had a great time, and left- no clean up or hassle. Thank you for such wonderful memories. Bedford is so blessed to have Learning Express Play. We may just do this every year! See More

I took my son to their Grand Opening last weekend and I was very impressed. Learning Express Play is unlike any other indoor play center I've been in (and that'...s a wonderful thing) we played in the grocery store and with the train tracks for about an hour and I look forward to going back with him to check out all the other great rooms (gym, building area, vet, diner, dress up, etc). I will definitely try out one of the classes too. It's nice to have a place to bring my son where he can use his imagination and creativity. See More

I went to purchase birthday gifts and the selection in the store was great and I found gifts for both birthday parties. I'm sure I will be back for more gifts. ...

I was disappointed that as part of their grand opening you could not explore the play space without paying to get a feel for what is offered. I also was not greeted by any of the many workers nor when I checked out was there any explanation of the stores playscape theme. Seeing a sign for 15 dollars for three hours plus a fee for me and another fee for my second child was overwhelming as I had about an hour. Sadly I don't see my family being able to utilize this part of the facility as we rarely have a three hour span to dedicate to a play space on weekends. Birthday parties, swim lessons and recreation sports are not anywhere near three hour time dedication.

It was such a cute place to bring kids. I brought my friends son to see elmo yesterday and he was in heaven. The only part for me that I thought it was overcrowded in the play place area.

I took my son to the grand opening on Saturday and he absolutely loved it. The play area was fun and engaging. We could have easily spent the whole day playing.... The toy store was great too and well organized. The staff especially Caitlin were friendly and helpful. Even though the store was busy, Caitlin was able to take the time to give us a tour of the play space. We would recommend the store and play area to friends and family. We will definitely be visiting again soon! See More

My 4 year old daughter & 21 month old son love it here. We've been twice so far, once on the day it first opened & once since then. The play areas are so detail...ed, bright and colorful. We did get a membership because while pricey, we'll use it enough that we'll save money in the long run. One time admission is quite expensive, especially considering you only get 3 hours. My only criticisms of the play area is that they could use another table in the cafe seating area, and staff members should check bracelets of kids & parents before they leave, for security reasons (something I wish all play places did). The toy store has lots of fun things but is otherwise pretty standard. See More

Such a great place to take your child to. Not only do they have the downtown play area, but also a gym area that is available for play if they do not have classes or parties. They also have some crafts activities going on as well.
The toys are all new and clean, too!
