I don't know what the deal is, my husband and I have been stopping bye for over 10 years loved all the bargains. We've bought all our bathrooms tiles, toilets, sinks, light fixtures. We even bought B...razilian hard wood floors a whole pallet. I left with nothing today. The last few times I've gone into the restore it's been so over priced. The art work way over priced. The couches and living room chairs way over priced. I think someone from management should come and looks around and look at all the price tags on things. Broken ceiling fans a fortune. So disappointed. See More

Shopped here for 5 yrs. and I've seen the RS expand its space twice. Inexpensive construction mat'ls and remodeling supplies, once the staple of RS stock, has been pushed aside by furniture and appli...ances; neither of which are priced to sell compared to household sale prices. The most recent RS expansion provides room for wall art ($75+ ea.), reproduction "antique" side tables ($100+), dressers/armoires ($300-$1,200) and stuffed furniture. Kitchen cabinet sets used to range from approx. $800-$2,200; now comparative sets run approx. $1,200-$3,200. It is no longer common to find items at greater than 33% off the new price. One now has to compare RS prices with retail prices and consider if the used condition is worth the discount. Used doors and windows are still priced as they've always been (about $1/inch in width). I think, as the RS became better known, demand rose and so did the prices. Also, the RS may have found it needed to diversify stock in order to have stock. But, I have to say, it's no longer the bargain place it used to be. Upside: our donations are valued more for the tax deduction! See More

Most of the stuff is overpriced. I understand they have overhead and their profit is going to a good cause but why would I spend cents on the dollar less than buying a new product? I can buy a used fr...idge with no warranty for $900 or buy one brand new for $1000...

It's a lot of random junk, really old paint, toilets and appliances. Every once in a while you find a good deal on a light fixture or maybe a sink but even the tile isn't really worth the price. I've seen the same raspberry dazzle tile there for almost a year. Even the kitchens are overpriced. Sure it's half price from a new one but it's also used (usually in crappy condition) and will need to be modified to fit. Why bother?

And they have blood drives where they give $50 gift certificates but what they don't tell you is that they give you two $25 gift certificates, you can only use two per family per day and you don't get change. So if you find something for $10 you lose the other $15. And if you have 4 certificates and want to buy something for $100 you can't do that. Yeah they don't have to give you anything for donating blood but if they're going to they should at least be upfront about it, especially since they're probably using it as a tax write off anyway.

Stopped in one of my favorite places to shop today...H4H RESTORE!!! As always Tom, William and the rest of the staff were beyond helpful!!! Came in to browse and wound up meeting the CEO and CFO whil...e buying a Magnificent Woodmode KITCHEN!!! I have saved thousands $$$ over the years as I struggled to grow and relocate my family business into a much larger space. We have purchased everything from a commercial hot water heater, lighting, ceiling tiles, cabinets and more here. I tell all of my friends, customers and anyone who will listen about this place!! Stop in one day and see what you find in their huge newly expanded warehouse. Only drawback is you need to know your prices bc you don't have time to think/hesitate when you see it u need to buy it or most likely it won't be there when u come back!! Diamonds may be another girl's Best Friend, but for me it's creating and building something I could NEVER afford to buy Brand new for pennies on the dollar!!! Thank you Diane, Tom and rest of the H4H crew for making some of my dreams/visions come true and on budget!!! See More

As a Real Estate agent and home owner, I am always going to Restore. I have never walked out without something and their supply changes daily. Plus I feel good that I am doing my part in helping for Humanity by purchasing items there first. See More

Suffolk ReStore has a wide variety of merchandise to choose from. There are usually a lot of cabinets to choose from, and they have windows galore. Go there with an open mind-you never know what you'l...l find there. There are customers who go there every week. If you see something you like, buy it right then because it might not be there when you go back. See More
