More corset progress... I AM NOT USING THAT RIBBON (I ordered maroon shoelaces for the front... the ribbon in the photo is only a test. Anyways front grommets in, boning in, lining in. Now the only parts left is the back part... putting in grommets, lacing, bones, lapped seam then finally hem and do the belts. Hype is real

Battle skirts rule! Ruby skirt is 80% done... just need to build a small tulle petticoat.
This one is 2 layers .. one black the other longer one red. Both have horsehair braid in the hem, which is why it drapes so nicely. More progress to come!

Ruby skirt progress. The horsehair braid was a pain in the butt to handsew all the way around the skirt hem.. but totally worth it! I mean look at how it drapes!!?!?? That's without the petticoats which I am making next. Then finally sew in the waistband..... then play more Pokemon.

Ruby cape is done! I managed to get the scarf piece attached to the cape and the hood while at the same time having it drape the way I want it to. Did a few fancy stitches too that I'm super proud of (French seams and understitch). Hood and scarf pieces are the only parts lined. Overall happy with how it turned out.
