The FoodCycle and FoodCycle LSE breadline challenge is coming!

They are asking you to live on a food and drink budget of £2.50 a day for a week this November from the 21 to the 28. Participants are asked to raise at least £50 for FoodCycle – which could be through sponsorship or by donating the amount you would otherwise have spent on food and drink that week.

There are loads of good reasons to take part:

...

1. The money raised goes to a good cause, supporting people on the poverty line or in social isolation.
2. You save a lot of money that week. By living on the £2.50 a day for a week, it can really help you as a student to budget better while staying healthy.
3. You finally have an excuse to cook! Bring out the pots and pans and get creative and share your experience with the community.
4. It is a great experience to have on your CV. Show how much you can fundraise by taking initiative, with the hub and society supporting you along the way, and prove both your social initiative as well as endurance. Future employers are looking for people just like you!

Now, how can you sign up?

It just takes 2 easy steps to follow:

1. Just sign up over the FoodCycle charity to get some good tips and support : http://foodcycle.org.uk/get-stu…/breadline-challenge-2016-2/
2. Fundraise! Get friends and family to donate under the LSESU FoodCycle fundraising page and help us reach our target of £2000 for the LSE hub : http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/…/showFundraiserProfilePage…
