You want a church that is real? People who are real? A place where God's word is taught in context for the growth of the individual and God's glory? A church where the worship of the Holy Trinity i...s more important than entertainment? A body of believers centered on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I have been visiting twice a month on my return trips from the U.P. I have studied God's word and worshiped with these good people who love God and love His word; who understand what love, mercy, forgiveness and reconciliation look like. A pastor who is genuinely HAPPY sharing the LOVE of God and the TRUTH of God's word....GRACE as well as practicing repentance on a daily basis. On my ride home I look forward to my worship here with fellow believers! If you live in the area, check it out. It is simple, warm, and friendly. See More

My wife and I moved to St Helen a few months ago. We visited this church on our first Sunday in town and have been there ever since! What a great church family, filled with love for one another and a ...sincere desire to serve the Lord! Very open and caring, down-to-earth people. Not stuffy or judgmental; just real people who have found a loving church family. I hope more people in our town will check us out! See More

Just a reminder..
This Sunday, January 21, 2018 is our monthly potluck, come join us. If you would like to bring a dish to share please do.
It is the first of the year so let's start the year Great!

Food for thought today...
Sunday School study 'Jesus Corrects'.
The Passage: Mark 7:5-15
Jesus calls us to a higher standard.
Questions.. ...
1.What are some social customs you were taught to follow?
2. What are factors that cause modern Christians to neglect God commands?
3. What things might tempt people to twist God's command?
4. What are the implications of Jesus' declaration in verse 15 for those who follow Him?
5. What steps can we take to demonstrate grave rather than legalism?
Added is a picture explaining things to consider to improve ourselves.

Something to think about...
Every area of bondage in our lives can be traced back to a lie.
1.We listen to the lie (seems innocent);
2.We dwell on it (maybe hear it a few times or try to think on it because our source 'wouldn't lie to us').
3. Then we start to actually believe it and in the end before you realize it .......
4. You act on the lie...
once you start believing a lie we reject the truth and sinful behavior develops.
