Heads up Austin! Normally "X Games" means something totally different to us, but apparently it has something to do with sports as well. ChordForte, Amped Austin, Red Bull, and So Gnar are bringing us to club Amped on 6th street for a FREE X Games Austin kick off show. The show is this Thur night (June 5th) and is FREE! Bam! We go on around 11PM and doors are at 8PM. Support acts are Scorpio Rising from Austin Texas, Knights and Park N Murray. ME-HEE-COOOOOOO!!!!! We missed you so much, we are coming back to play 2 shows with the Corona tour, July 5 in Monterrey, and July 13 in DF. Quick pit stop in Playa on July 11 to rock it with our friends at La Santanera. More details to come as we get closer.

One of the artists that really influenced many of my earlier projects is Nolan Green's "the grassy knoll".

In fact, I still continue to rip him off to this day. If you've seen us live, then the intro we use that starts with Aerosmith's "S...weet Emotion" was lifted off one of his early albums (and tweaked a bit).

Nolan moved to Austin a while back and we have become fairly good friends. We met for a beer the other day and he told me about a campaign he has started to raise funds to complete a fourth Grassy Knoll album. He needs to reach a certain email list size before the funding site will accept his project for funding.

2014 is the 20th anniversary of the release of his debut album on Nettwerk Music Group. He has already started on the new album and has some great stuff already recorded with some cool guest musicians. He asked if I would supply a remix of one of his new tunes that will be on the album, and of course I said yes.

So do me a favor, head over to the link and give him your email and grab a free Grassy Knoll track in the process. I really hope I get to do that remix. It will be epic!
