Message us here at Latrobe Street Mission page-if your youth group would want to be a part of the "Steer Me Straight" program. Building our schedule now.
Our "mission kitchen" is getting closers to opening- just wanted to share our progress. Thank you to all those that contributed.
Such a blessing this morning for devotions. We praise God for them. 18 homeless attendind

Still housing those without homes

Post from Sandy:
Those that volunteer, donate or pray for the mission are loving others. It’s that simple.
John 15: 9-17...Jesus teaches us to obey his commandment: Love each other as he loves us. WOW! Then he tells us no greater love than to lay your life down for your friend. V14 tells us we are his friends if we love others.
Laying our life down for others means: ministering - helping those in need- putting others needs in front of your own- cooking dinner for the homeless- giving a kind word- praying for the lost.....its all part of loving someone besides ourself. It's not a "me-me-me" thing- it's all about loving others like Jesus loves us. Jesus says if you do this: we will be "joyful" like him and our "joy" will be complete.

One reason we love what we do at the mission.❤️ Momma’s getting close to getting a home.

Great idea for you or a group. It’s eye opening to see this ministry that helps so many.

How many stayed at the shelter last night?
Total count 54, women 19, men 32, kids 2, infant 1
Isn’t that just amazing❤️

Homelessness continues in the Mid-Ohio valley.
Our census remains around 50, 3 small children had a safe place to stay last night and will be served breakfast this morning.
So amazing.
Please, Pray for Latrobe Street Mission and the homeless.

What a miracle it is, God is providing for Latrobe Street Mission. The woman’s dorm is full and there are 2 little girls and a 2 month old baby.
Still, the electric, heat, water is on. Our roof no longer leaks. We have food to feed the homeless. Washers to wash clothing.
I can’t put into words the vastness of Gods mercy and Provision. This is a miracle. With NO organization backing it- the doors are staying open.
God is faithful. He is the one we owe our lives to.
Praise Go...d he is our deliverer, our strong tower, our trust that tonight and the ones that follow- the homeless shelter is open.
Glory to God in the highest.
Thank you all.

Some ask what’s needed? The answer is YOU ❤️

Post from Sandy:
I am telling you, this little fella at the mission is the most handsome sweet little man. Thanking God for all the support they are receiving.
Mom filled my ears with all that’s happening. I can’t imagine being in her shoes, but she is being a great mom in her circumstance.
I was able to take this picture, with “one” of his adoptive mawmaws (he has won everyone’s heart).
We also have 2 other younger children staying. (With Salvation Army shelter (corrected only taking men, our census is running around 50 a night).
All support is greatly needed- this mission is helping those that need help.
Thank you.❤️

Don’t forget your pants😁

Drop off those “old pair”of pants that you don’t wear. We can recycle them if they have paint or holes- doesn’t matter.
We have a metal drop box for all clothing donations (good shape or bad shape) on the corner of 19th and Latrobe.
