The apartments might look nice but the place is ran by idiots. There is a reason the property owner (greystar) is rated an F by the BBB. This place is not safe ...they only have 3 cameras at the entrance. Also for over a month the exterior lights on my whole building (building 5) would go out randomly, I had to escort my guests to their cars because it was so dark. To top it all off I submitted my last payment to them and they lost it, but they made a copy of the money order and tried to claim that Im still responsible for it. They sent me the copy they made so I can try to get a refund and issue them a new money order but they refused to pay the money order cancellation fee for the money order they lost. See More

Beautiful setting, comfortable apartment, and friendly neighbors. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a new home in the Plantation, FL area.

So far it's been great. I've been here for about 4 months now. I love the speedy service that the maintenance team here provides. 2 thumbs up👍👍

Gates never work, service is terrible, rent is too high and gets higher, mandatory inspections monthly, no parking, they never answer the phone, old buildings

Lived in The Laurels for four years, always paying on time but got kicked out because have to follow up constantly on service request for the appliances. I too...k them almost 3 years to change a 17 year old stove that was so rusty every time we turned the big burner on it shoot sparks. Took 5 days to get a working drier to us and I recommended a friend (big mistake) and never paid me what ever the reward was (false advertisement). I am still waiting for my deposit after moving out over a month ago. Highly not recommended. See More

I love how they like to remind their residents to pick up after their pets when they don't provide bags for anyone to pick up their pet's poop. We have been ou...t of poop bags for about a week next to building 14, mind you the places where you can get bags are very few and far in between for the amount of residents that own dogs in this community. We had to walk all the way to the lake area to get poop bags for my dog and at seven o'clock in the morning it is very inconvenient for anyone that has to go to work. I am forced to take a bunch of bags home with me depriving the neighbors that live right next to Lake of bags that they could have had. My fiancee he stepped on poop more than once while walking the dog and I don't blame the person who left it, I blame the management company for not providing residents with the tools that they need to keep our community clean. Parking has been a big issue. Last week there were residents that had to park curbside because there was no parking anywhere, even on the surrounding parking areas, residents have to park in another parking lot completely because there is not enough parking by building 14, thus taking up other residents parking areas in other buildings far away from their own. There is no monitoring on who stays in the community and since the gate never works, only God knows who actually is coming into our community. In the 8 months that we have been here, there have been no improvements to the gate.
During the weekends this place is a pigsty there garbage spilling out of the garbage can by the mailboxes and garbage on the grass left by other residents that maintenance doesn't pick up until Monday. Most recently the company that picks up our garbage had garbage fall out of their truck and they never bothered to pick it up, it was laying on the street all of Sunday night and when I was leaving my home at 8:45am on Monday it was still there and people had to drive around it. For the amount of money that we pay rent here, there should be much better service and maintenance, this is not upscale living in any kind of way. Stay away!!

Joke. Run away do not rent here. Very over priced. You pay for amenities but they rarely work or are accessible. Instead of fixing security gate they spent mone...y on new signage! New managament team members do not know anything about customer service or loyalty.
Put 2 and 2 together.
