Hoyer Interview with NBC Washington on Coronavirus Legislation

I spoke to NBC Washington yesterday about how the next #coronavirus legislative package must include a fix to provide the District of Columbia with critical funds to fight the coronavirus in our region. Our nation’s Capital should not be shortchanged as we respond to this crisis.

Across the country, US Congressman Steny Hoyer of Maryland, is the House majority leader, and he says he wants the next aid package to ensure Americans have enough to eat and that States are reimbursed for their Corona virus cause He's also focused on the funding shortfall for the district. The District of Columbia, the nation's capital, was short-change by less than a half of what every other state got including States like Wyoming and Vermont, smaller than the District of Columbia.
