Here is a YouTube upload of our nearly 14-minute long stoner rock opus to our favorite Chistmas Monster, Jólakötturinn. Happy Holidays.
Alright, we're outta here.
That's a wrap.
Happy Krampusnacht, friends!
Today we finally release the digital edition of Jólaköttur and Trees! It's available on Itunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, CDBaby, Amazon, EMusic, Pandora, and anyplace that distributes digital music. **
For those of you who wish to follow our new Post-LP4 musical endeavors, you can follow us at:...

Where you can follow Clinton and Stephen backing up our good friend Mlee Marie.
THAT OTHER BAND WITH EVERYONE BUT CLINTON THAT STILL HASN'T DECIDED ON A NAME
This is Carol, Charlie, Larry, Ramon, and Stephen who have written more than an album's worth of music and will have the first recording session of their first album this very evening. The page was just created (even the name is just a temporary placeholder) so there is very little there at this moment but things will pick up very very soon.
And with that...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building!
Thank you one and all for your support over the years.
You all have been awesome.
The Linus Pauling Quartet

We are happy to announce that in two weeks Jólaköttur and Trees will be available for digital download on our Bandcamp, CD Baby, ITunes, Amazon, Spotify, Emusic, and any other place you can think of. This is our half of the fabulous Psychedelic Battles Volume 3 split LP that was released by Vincebus Eruptum on vinyl a few months back. [ 307 more words ]
Hey San Francisco friends. Check out this exhibit featuring Houston’s Doomstress! We’ve had the honor of playing with her band and her even joining us on stage. She’s a hoot and a sweetheart and we’re very happy for her. So yeah, check it out.

We are beyond excited to unveil the phenomenal cover art by Zuhal Muhammad for the digital edition of Jólaköttur/Trees.
We've always had the great fortune to have been able to work with some great artists over the years and Zuhal was no exception. We pretty much let him run wild with the cover concept and what he delivered was beyond our expectations. We love being surprised like that. Fantastic artist, wonderful to work with, we can't recommend him any higher.
He also has a soundcloud:
By the way, this digital edition will be available on Bandcamp, ITunes, Amazon, etc. sometime this December. (This will be a digital edition of LP4 half of the split with Colt .38 from earlier this year on Vincebus Eruptum records and as this will be a digital release it will be remastered for this format. If you bought a physical copy of the split, we'll make sure you have the opportunity to download the digital edition for free this December)
Hey friends, we're very happy and excited to announce that we're going to be working with Indonesian artist Zuhal Muhammad who will be making a special cover for the digital edition of Jólaköttur/Trees which will be available on Bandcamp, ITunes, Amazon, etc. sometime this December.

Only 300 copies will be printed, so...be fast!
Hey, so while you wait for Razortooth and the other LP4 as yet unnamed LP4 offshoot to debut new material, here is a little something from some fellow Texans in Arlington. Just stumbled onto them yesterday (!!!) and they do some flarking amazing Psych jams. Good stuff and turns out they've been around almost along as the LP4 - go figure. Anyhow check it out...
Hey, so you remember how we said we'd release Jólaköttur and Trees from the recent Psychadelic Battles Volume 3 split LP with Colt .38 three months after the LP's release date? Well, it may be a bit longer.
We wanted to distinguish the digital release of our side of the LP from the physical split LP with Colt .38 and one nice way to do that would be to have different artwork for the digital version of the LP4 side.
This of course will involve working with an artist and t...hat will mean that it won't be released until sometime around (appropriately enough) Christmas time. Apologies for the delay but we think it will be neat and in the meantime you can still purchase a lovely copy the split LP on vinyl.
Hey folks, just a heads up that Hearts of Animals (that's Clinton and Steve under the leadership of our good buddy Mlee Marie) are playing tomorrow night at Rudz with the always henie-kickin' Ex-Optimists.
Yesterday we posted a pic of what we've been working on in the as-yet-unnamed post-LP4 band. So we figured, for those of you wondering about what Clinton is up to, you'll be happy to know that Dr. Heider is heading up a new band called Razortooth which, we're pretty excited to say, will make its live debut sometime before the end of this year. We'll be sure let you folks know the details on our feed once that show is announced so you guys can catch them.
BTW - In case you are wondering, no, Clinton hasn't created a Facebook page yet for Razortooth but luckily some drunk guy on the street who seemed trustworthy to us was kind enough to provide us with this press photo of the new band for $10.
