Dr. Johnson is a true gift to God's animal kingdom. I worked for her for ten years and she never ceased to amaze me with her endless wisdom and compassion. Just watching her do a routine exam on a pet... was a blessing as her thoroughness and knowledge are truly a work of art. She always put the needs of the animals first, whether that meant working in emergencies, checking in on cases on her day off, keeping in close contact with clients, staying late or coming in early. She always went the extra mile in giving her best and I am so thrilled that my pets are now under her watchful care again. Wyoming Veterinary Clinic is so blessed to have her! See More

Dr. Johnson "loves" her patients as if they were her own. I know of many times in the past when she had a hospitalized patient...on her own time...she would set her alarm for midnight and 4 am to go ...to the clinic to check on them. See More

Make sure you read the labels carefully on all medications and topicals - ask your vet for their recommendations or if any questions! Below is still a common occurrence with many flea and tick topical products unfortunately!

This handsome boy came in today because his mom was concerned about tremors that he had developed a few hours before bringing him in. As it turns out his mom ap...plied a drop of flea and tick prevention to his neck earlier that morning. The flea and tick prevention was for dogs, and it contained an ingredient called permethrin which is toxic to cats. The chemical affects the cat's nervous system and can be deadly if not treated. His mom had no idea that this could happen and she let us share her sweet kitty's story to help educate others about the dangers of using chemicals containing Permethrin on and around cats. We stabilized our feline friend with IV fluids and medications to help with his tremors, and by the end of the night, he was feeling much better!

"My pacifier!"

Easter lilies are extremely dangerous to cats!

Pet owners in Colerain Township - Beware! A client of mine who lives on Sheed Rd zip code 45247 had her 25 lbs Brittany Spaniel dog attacked by a group of 3 coyotes this past weekend. It happened in her backyard with her husband in the yard with both of their dogs around 10 pm and a large floodlight on in the yard. The sweet senior dog is lucky to be alive and is recovering from surgery for multiple bite wounds.

This is hilarious! At very end are the out takes that are funny also! Happy Belated April Fools Day!
