As a former journalist, international speaker on foreign election interference, and educator, I know we are facing an unprecedented, perilous time for our democracy.

While it was not always the top polling issues, I stuck to my conviction that foreign election interference was and will continue to remain a top national security threat. Now with the Ukraine news, we see Trump is indeed using a foreign power again to interfere in the next election.

There is too much at stake.... We need new leaders to rise up that understand the urgency of this moment. That is why I am running in this critical swing district in Texas.
