A reminder that we will be holding a SATS Information Evening in the studio hall on Monday 26th February at 6pm for parents of Year 2 children to give you more information about the upcoming SATS and how you can help your child at home. All parents are welcome to attend. Children not be required and we are not able to provide a creche on this occasion. We look forward to seeing you there.

We were delighted to welcome street artist 'Binty Bint' to school today to transform the white wall in our gardening area. Every class got the chance to watch Binty complete the transformation using the spray paints. We are super proud of the finished work which reflects the ideas and wishes of the children.

A reminder that we will be holding a Year 6 SATs Information evening 6pm on Monday 15th January for parents and children in Year 6. This will be a chance to find out more information about the structure of the tests, look over sample papers, understand the school revision homework process and ask any questions you may have. The session should last an hour and will be held in the Year 6 classroom (please enter via the junior gate) with Miss Durling and Miss Heald.

Our phone lines have been restored and are working normally again

A reminder that children in Years 5 and 3 need their swimming kit in school on Monday as they will be starting swimming. Swimming hats can be purchased from the school office.

Happy New Year! We are looking forward to welcoming all children back to school tomorrow, 4th January. Please remember PE kits, warm coats and inhalers for those that need them.

Wishing all children and families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on behalf of everyone at Loatlands. School re-opens to pupils on Thursday 4th January at 8.50am.

Thank you to all the parents and family members who supported our Phase 2 and 3 Christmas concerts over the last two days. The children certainly showed true Christmas spirit.

The final newsletter of the term has been emailed home today. Enjoy a festive weekend from all at Loatlands.

Children taking part in the Phase 2 and 3 Christmas concerts this week are allowed to bring in their Christmas jumper to change into later in the afternoon.

A big thanks to Love Food JM ltd staff and Loatlands lunchtime supervisors for helping to serve a delicious Christmas Dinner to over 280 children and staff. 😀
